Straight ballin'.

On a side note, does anyone know if the FDNY lowers are completely sold out, as in no more coming down the pike, or did the first batch sell out and there are more to come later?

That's the correct rail. But even some plastic ones or none at all to keep cost down would be fine.
Also, hope you're doing 14.5 and not 14.7. Some of us have and lowers or bcm flash hiders.

I like Sputnik’s idea of sourcing FN plastics.

That is absolutely the rail that I want, but unless you can get a screaming deal on them it will increase the cost substantially.

I plan on putting that rail on one, and plastic hand guards on another. I would like it to come with plastic guards to keep the cost down as well. I don't want this to be a $500+ upper with carry handle and KAC rail.

I don’t know about full kits since as others have pointed out above the furniture is quite non-clone. Some might not care about that so it may not be an issue.

What I’d prefer to see:

- 14.5 CHF M4A1 SOCOM barrels w/ FSB
- 14.7 CHF M4A1 SOCOM barrel w/ FSB + pin/weld A2 FH
- 10.3 CHF SOCOM barrel (not drilled for FSB) w/ correct gas port size
- stripped uppers w/o PSA logo but WITH the 7XC20 cage code (near the forge mark)
- mil-spec BCG w/o PSA logo but WITH the 7XC20 cage code (on the left side)
- lower parts kits w/o fire control but NO divots on takedown & pivot pins

With Colt supposedly exiting the civilian rifle market, it’s possible their parts will dry up. PSA could become the go-to for people wanting quality mil-spec parts.

Please also do:

- M16A2 lowers
- M16A4 lowers (featuring 7XC20 cage in a format similar to FN lowers)
- M4 burst lowers (featuring 7XC20 cage in a format similar to FN lowers)

Trust me, I think people might be interested in these. As @BrickWurX likes when I point it out, the M4A1 was my idea and I’m pretty sure that was profitable.

We are looking into the proper furniture right now. As far as the FSB, what do you all want? Do you want the sling swivel to be on the side, or is this a non-issue? Also, all of these uppers will be 14.5" pinned and welded. M16A2 lowers have the variance approved, and will be manufactured as soon!

The side swivel would be preferable, but like the RAS will increase the cost. I think it’s worth it, but others may not.

You guys are going above and beyond on this one, and I really appreciate it.

Hey Josish,

Since the Baby PFG does not show as a preorder item and the initial amount listed for sale was around 500 does that mean they are already finished and ready to ship?
Also do you have a cutoff on how many will be produced?
Thanks!

Oh boy, this will not be good for my wallet.

I think offering pinned and unpinned would be good.  You have a lot of folks who will probably attach their flavor of mount for their suppressor.

As for the rail, I say leave off the KAC rail.  I think it would increase the price too much and scare potential customers away.

-Magpul RLS sling
-Aero Precision front sight
-UTG Pro sight/carry handle
-PSA chrome lined BCG
-Generic delta ring
-Generic front sling swivel
-Generic charging handle

PSA, a little heads up.

My last lpk had a very undersized roll pin for the trigger guard. To big to be anything else and way to skinny to use.

I have 5-6 unused trigger guards so I grabbed one of those.

What's the average ship date on a long run with them. Not in a rush for it so what say ARF.COM??

I would love either a 14.7 or 14.5 with a FSP. I already have a RIS II rail & an M4A1 Lower from PSA.

the rest I can add later. Also @Combat_Diver

Seriously appreciate all the effort you have put into making these correct!

My cheap side would like a kit without any furniture or rails, since I'm going to replace them with colt and KAC stuff anyway, but my impatient side would love a kit with KAC/P&S rails, Colt/FN stock and grip and a Matech rear sight.... maybe two options?

Josiah,

Since there is some kind of hold up on approval and the pre-order is moving into month 3, what is the game plan?  The reality of the situation, is that these I Stand 10 and 9 orders could be into the Christmas season??   Guys on a tight budget might have wanted to pick up a different one knowing this (which I know you cant foresee the future anymore than I can), but it might be time for some to cut bait.

Any other ideas?

If you can offer both pinned and not pinned that would be awesome.  Or even just a pinning option to the page.  I would love not having to send it out for a pin/weld.

The KAC rail is the correct one but will probably add quite a bit to the cost.  Also consider that you can find them on the EE or eBay at a significant savings over retail.  It will be hard to justify the expense.

A side sling swivel mount would be correct also if you could add it rather then the bottom mounted swivel.

Switch "sullivan" and "moultrie".  Moultrie was the fort.
Yes, no, and yes. Colonel William Moultrie designed the flag prior to it's use when taking Fort Sullivan after taking Fort Johnson. But up until taking Fort Sullivan, the flag did not have a name. It was named the Moultrie flag only after Fort Sullivan was rename Fort Moultrie.

So how long would you estimate we have to wait now?

Just got SN 1953. That’s two in a row I got above the advertised quantity being made.

Same for me.  Unless you get a really screaming deal on the KAC RAS, just put a plastic hand guard on them.
Pinned and welded with the side swivel, yes.

Awesome news. Thanks.

Maybe one day you can describe the process, jumping through hoops; it takes to bring one of these designs to production.  It can't be fun or easy dealing with the ATF.  And what is it they need to approve?? The actual picture, the serial prefix, selector markings, or all of it.  Interested in the process and what part of it could make it a problem or gets denied.

They going to have to stop selling to Georgia.

JK

That is not good news.  From the PSA website. "Only 1776 of these are going to be made, so all serial numbers will be #1 through #1776"  This one, I didn't buy for the limited number aspect.  This one, I bought, along with the I Stand 10, because of the message it promoted.  But someone needs a talking to, common core math is not an excuse.....
