Robinson charges too much for their M96.

I wish PSA would make M63 clone with a price point of around $1000.  I would get one, especially the carbine version.  Would you get one?

Make that 12 if it's around $1500 or less.

If they have trouble with scaling MP5 production I can’t help but think a Stoner would be beyond their reach for the time being. That’s a lot of stampings.

There was a belt fed version of the AR10, figuring out how to down size that to 556 would probably be easier for them.

If they make it as modular as the original, I'd love one.

Mostly I just want the Bren configuration.

Only $1000?? For a Stoner 63 build???

If they could keep the price reasonable (sub $1k ideally) I'd be really, really tempted.

Of course, I'd be really, really tempted if they could get a belt fed AR upper too, so I'm a bit of a whore for novelty. A cheap/frugal whore, but a whore nonetheless.

That would enable every alleged SEAL who served in Vietnam to be able to buy one.

Id probably buy one too.

I think the dude in the thread asking what guns his outfit should knock off said there were some licensing issues that made it prohibitive?  Can't seem to find the thread.  Maybe it got nuked?

Had a football coach in highschool that was allegedly a navy seal in Viet Nam. He would say some crazy off the wall shit sometimes in class. Patterson was his last name.

For that price, Hell yes I would buy one.

But PSA (or no one else) will be able to do one for that price.

Robinson can eat a bag of dicks!

After they abruptly abandoned the M96 and after years of telling owners they had no spare parts they suddenly come up with enough spare parts to do a small run of new production ones using old parts.

I would love to see somebody else take up the mantle. Even if it wasn’t a true Stoner 63 clone and more like the Robinson I would be ok with that.

I bought a M96 around 1997 with the intention of buying the belt fed upper kit that was promised by Robinson. I’m still waiting….

Nothing but love for PSA.  But seriously, until they execute a stamped submachinegun project that Pakistani's and Turks can get done, I'm hesitant to add to the development workload.

And once the Mp5 is finally done, it's SVD time.

To be fair to PSA, the Turks & Pakis had HK set up their production lines, PSA is reverse engineering it for a picky & litigious civilian market, not for a military that can handle rolling fixes/upgrades.

Id buy one at 2x the price but I'd be in for at least 3 for $1K! I don't think it's possible to make one for under $1500 at cost for them. Too bad RA stopped making their version of the 63....

I think they were going to use up what parts they had and build what they could, but that pretty much would be the end of parts for owners of the rifles.

ETA In this thread I learned there is a beltfed option. Carry on.

MK Arms, Special Weapons, and Omega did just that .....they couldn't sell enough to warrant production

These threads are like watching an 8 year old in the 1970's go thru the Sears catalog and circle everything they want for Christmas
