I have gotten more “Merry Christmas” from store employees, restaurant folks, etc. this year than the last 10 combined. I feel like I’m back in the 80s again. It rocks.

You guys getting the same?

Have a new manager at one of our locations, she came from a company that couldn’t say it — had to be Happy Holidays. I told her she can say Merry Christmas and decorate for it. She was happy.

Bitch on the phone told me "Happy Holidays". I replied back to her "Merry Christmas". She probably told her friends some dick told me "Merry Christmas".

Everywhere in Texas.  It's been years since I've heard it used on a regular basis.  Good stuff!

I've noticed something else.

More Christmas decorations. More people are lighting up their homes. I don't know if people are feeling better about the economy, or they're "discovering" LED lights. I think the former.

People don’t feel like their going to be crucified for saying it. The witch hunt against Christians has slowed, from the government at least.

I "Happy Holidays'ed" someone the other day, and they replied with Merry Christmas.  I grinned a little, and returned the Merry Christmas.

Feels good, man.

Been hearing it a lot more too. More importantly, people are smiling and saying it with conviction.

There must be an abundance of autistic screeching behind closed doors that I'm too tone deaf to hear.

Love it.

It's an interesting way to make a stand, but I think people are finally sick of the PC bullshit and getting their balls back.

So, Merry Christmas.

This.

People would say "happy holidays", I would wish them a Merry Christmas, they would pause, look around and say (a little quieter) "Merry Christmas".

It seems not only more then in the last 10 years combined but people are excited to say Merry Christmas.  MAGA

Yep.  It took me off guard the first few times this year, because I hadn't heard employees at businesses say it in so long.  At first you think, "are they allowed to say that? Are they going to get in trouble?"  But literally everywhere I've gone this year, every single waitress, cashier, etc. has said it.  Feels good, man.

Same here. Its weird, when I was in retail we were very specifically told to say Happy Holidays. Now the checkers at WalMart are wishing me a Merry Christmas. What happened?

Merry Christmas 17'er!  There's lots of abbreviation lingo around here.

You have to CAPITALIZE it to add EMPHASIS, especially FBHO!  It means Face Buzzed Happy Our

or F the former Pres initials.   Like you'll also see FHC ( F hill clinton), etc.
