I didn't say he sowed panic. Nor am I questioning his motives. I just said he conveyed complete ineptitude, and the entire country stuck at home watched. Trying times are an opportunity for leadership. "My fellow Americans, Covid is here. There are tough times ahead, but we will get through it. We are a resilient people who will come together to make sure we do. We have the best medical infrastructure in the world, and the best medical minds working to get us through this. And when we do, our nation will be stronger for it." And then sit down and get out of the way. Easy peasy, 4 more years. But he couldn't do that.
