This isn’t directed at you personally, but I really don’t get the point of putting the shortest comp possible on a gun that’s also got the longest WML bezel on the market attached to the rail. I gave up and paid full price for one at $275 shipped. Still working on getting mine to fit. I added tape the second time and didn't get it hot enough and i should have my holster fit tonight... hopefully. |

New holster day. Delivered today and spent a couple of hours getting it fitted.
Attached File G-Code Syncron with Mag Caddy. Took a couple of hours with a heat gun, trimming, and a little sand paper. It’s lays super flat on my tub tummy. Feels like a very clean draw and I’m very optimistic it will the best I’ve had so far. Attached File |

So I've been thinking about getting a Trijicon RMR HD (the new one) for my ccw piece - mainly because I trust Trijicon quality and durability compared to some of the other dot manufacturers. And I know their customer service will stand behind their products.
My biggest issue is that it does not have shake awake, and it seems like the solution to that is turning the dot on every time you head out the door which I am not a huge fan of and seems almost like a dealbreaker to me. So that brings me to the Holoson 509 series; it seems to have all of the latest and greatest features which is obviously a good thing. But I am hung up on putting a CHINESE product on a carry piece. It is also cheaper which is also a good thing? Can someone give me some other points of view that I can consider? |

I have a 7TS too, since I tried it and realized I greatly prefer the 6-series, so may be able to repurpose. Seriously, it’s not like a rifle optic where you have to press a button or turn a dial in order to illuminate it. Mount it, zero it, leave it on, change the battery once a year, enjoy life. If you can find one in stock, it certainly seems as though Trijicon’s new RMR HD is the highest of top tier optics. The Holosun 508T/509T have displayed at least equal durability and reliability (to Trijicon) in independent, long-term, objective testing. But if you just can’t shake the Chynuh willies, you won’t ever be served wrong with a RMR HD |

Holosun went the Ti route on their "flagship" line not because they had to, but because it gave them some cachet when there was concern about durability of their products when they launched years ago. The aluminum 507C, 507K, EPS, etc have all proven to hold up just fine, as has the SCS lineup. |

I'm getting ready to buy my M18 red dot. Pretty sure I'm going with the Sig romeo1 Pro in FED (6 mil dot).
I'll need a new holster. I typically like the Safariland ALS type locking paddle holsters, but they don't offer one with the ALS system. They do have a paddle holster with the GLS locking system. Comments on this holster? Any other ideas on other locking paddle holsters that are red dot ready? Thanks! |
