Is nobody going to mention the white elephant in the room?
It's been here for like a week now - and as far as I can tell -- no one has said a thing about the fact that we now have a thirteenth page of gifs to choose from. I wish the interface was a little easier to use. |

So I called them back....took out a well sharpened Esse laserstrike fixed blade and sliced open the belly of my piggy bank from stem to stern - bled that fucker dry, and asked Midwest if I could change my order and pay the difference to get a set of their oh-so-gucci triple curve Venture FM-4 (also made by tencate). A little heavier and thicker than the group buy plate --- these are 0.9" and 5.5-pounds (actually now that I read the specs again , I think I'll be saving only 4.2 pounds over the 4401's, whatever) --- but the FM-4's will take multi-hit 30.06. California farmers being a thing, lol. SPECIAL THREAT TESTING 7.62X63 M2AP (NIJ IV) 7.62X54R API B32 7.62X54R LPS 7.62X51 M80 (NIJ III) 5.56X45 M855 (GREEN TIP) EKKKK  those are spendy. |
