A real security escort would've gotten the news crew out of there. Based on this, I’m going with “it’s a communist media operation” for a thousand dollars, Cotton. His “media security“ was cover, and in reality Mr. Pinkerton was running an agitator op.
Lessons learned:

1.- Do not underestimate your opposition. Don't assume that leftist, antifa , and BLM rioters can't shoot quickly and accurately. Assumptions like these will get people killed, especially as agitator ops ramp up towards the election.
2.- Always go to a riot with a buddy. Don’t let your buddies get separated, cornered or singled out.
3.- Do not engage in confrontation with agitator types. By definition, agitators get paid to agitate. Make sure you film any interaction you have with them.
4.- It looks like these guys were setting up another intimidation killing to thin out the counter protests. Keep this in mind when you scan for threats, and make SURE no one is left behind.
5.- Your opposition may be so mentally unstable, that they may react in ways you will not be able to predict. Keltner fatally assumed that the communist wouldn’t shoot him with so many cops in the vicinity.
6.- A head shot indicates these guys are doing armor drills. This is a reminder that there are people out there who can draw and place a shot above your plate carrier in a quarter second flat, and that distance is your friend.
Response to the event:

1.- We must commemorate Lee Keltner, portraying him as the good man he was. He was a patriot on the front lines, and he is one of us. The narrative wants to dehumanize him.
2.- Lee Keltner’s lawyers are sitting on a case that could unravel a major component of the communist operation. It’s vitally important they do not settle out of court. We have to rally as much support for Lee Keltner’s family as possible.
This is one hell of a scandal, as it ties riot leadership to a media outlet. As odd and sad as it may seem, it benefits team patriot. It’s heartbreaking, and watching Keltner making cowboy hats is upsetting, but you have to look at the bigger picture.
Operationally, similar actions are being called off and reviewed, seriously fucking up the communist schedule. The communists are desperately looking for a disaster to take attention off the abysmal Biden campaign.
The left has not rallied the support they were looking for, and their only play left is attempting to force civilian confrontations, in an attempt to make patriots look bad.
From here to the election, we will see ugly things. The leftist insurrectionists are looking for a culminating event before the election, and to intimidate voters.
Everyone needs to be excruciatingly careful at the rallies held between now and the election. Sadly, armed violence at this point is inevitable. We must accept that there will be more casualties.
The only way to win this thing is by focusing on the media war. Abstain from giving the left the escalation it so desperately desires.
If you counter-protest, maintain distance. Follow proportional rules of engagement. Don’t expose yourselves. And unless your life, family, peers, property or community are in immediate danger, try to avoid an armed response.

There will be an end to this thing, and its not as remote as it may seem. Focus on the light at the end of the tunnel. We just need to hold out for three more weeks.
Holding out for three more weeks is a recommendation for patriots not to engage in counter-productive action. People mustn’t succumb to the anger, demoralization and frustration that they are currently experiencing.
This period is crucial, as the leftist mobilizations are all headed for their denouement. After the election, the restraint that is currently holding back the federal government will be removed.
After the election, the rules of engagement will change, as patriot and federal responses will no longer be constrained by election optics. This is the light at the end of the tunnel.
Once this variable is gone, the gloves come off. The federal government will be able to roll these guys up, and patriots will be free to declare open season on the communist insurgents.
Historically, these types of insurrection always end in the use of force. Sometimes the conflict takes on a life of its own, and the suppression must occur preemptively, before the uprising hits a self-sustaining threshold of violence.
The communists' plan is to hit this threshold, which is the mobilization of 3.5% of the population. Once that number of people are on the streets committing violence, it's game over for law and order. This has always been the objective of the riots.
However, a prolonged conflict of this nature that does not garner public support is unsustainable. The population becomes weary, and sympathy for violent causes wanes.
This is where we are: the initial insurrection has failed, and the remaining disorder is being used to sway the election. That said, veteran antifa rioters are still being kept in reserve as a last-ditch safeguard, should the left lose the election.
The only other window left to the communists for a mass uprising is to capitalize on post-election emotional reactions to a Biden-Harris loss.
Social disorder has been normalized in the past few months and the population has been desensitized long enough to the point where a post-election horizontal uprising could be induced.
This potential post-election insurrection would channel the mass liberal hysteria generated by a Trump win by giving it an outlet with street violence.
Given what is at stake, the best course of action is to avoid violence by all means, and to hold out for three more weeks.
If the cavalry is coming, it will arrive after election. If it's not, then the patriots have nothing to lose, all bets are off, and it's up to them to save the Republic.
Food for thought:
Kennedy once said that “Those who foolishly sought power by riding the back of the tiger usually end up inside it.” We see this now, as the Democrats are losing control of the violence they have started.
And since civilian violence has now been normalized, remember that if the worst should happen, and a Communist government steals the election, that the same violence used by the Communists to take power can be used by patriots to rise up and restore the Constitution.
