It may have been the case that the woman was set upon in the same way. I am reminded of when Lara Logan was assaulted during the coverage of the Arab Spring protests. She said she could tell the crowd was getting aggressive and started to try to make a run for it, but as soon as the lights cut out it was like a wave crashing over her and it was unstoppable from then on. That's the danger of being in a riot like that, especially if you have a higher likelihood of being victimized for one reason or another. |

From a news podcast the police station evacuated was planned starting Wednesday and employees were told to remove all personal property. Also as much as could be removed was prior to evacuation. The idea was this would placate the mob and they would be satisfied
