Well, I walked back from the precipice after a little googling. I have several XD and XDM pistols and like them--they happen to fit my hand and point well for me. The 10mm XDM comp model with the 5.25" barrel is unobtanium. I was kind of thinking I should get one for each of the triplets for when they get old enough. Of course, these XDM's would all need to be broke in and I could at least do that for the kids in case I don't live that long.
