Yeah but that's just El Paso. Too much corruption here. Other places aren't as bad. Still a little higher than some around the nation, but there's no state income tax.

It’s for the greater good. George Gascon, the new George Soros-backed Los Angeles District Attorney, was sworn in on Monday, and immediately ended the use of cash bail for most crimes. The committed leftist ousted Jackie Lacey, the first African American woman to hold the office, with the support of millions from Soros On Friday…

with some practice, and modified shouldering positions, I can now get full eye relief on my Aimpoint T1 while wearing the Mira C-7 , both with-and-without the Vortex 3x in front.   The 3x makes it a bit more complicated, I really have to roll the rifle nearly 87 degrees...but it works.

North of Austin (outside of Travis County) 14k a year for taxes on 520k house....and the value keeps going up and I have even paid companies to protest and no one in our area has had any luck....it is a total tax run here.  But I still love Texas....

I'm at the outside edge of Dallas Ft Worth suburbia and I pay about 10k a year on a 440k house.  The school district taxes are absurd.  The city taxes are a few grand.  Thanks for the light pole 300 yards away, the firehouse 10 minutes away, and the cop shop 20 minutes away though, I guess.

We have the highest property tax in the nation here in El Paso. Good things are - cheap food, activities, labor, no state income tax. Some people move to NM right over the border and save a couple hundred a year. So it depends on what you make and what you spend as to whether or not it's worth it. Trying to get someone in the state legislature to propose a statewide limit on property tax. Would like to see a cap at 1.5-1.75%. But maybe even better would be to eliminate property tax and replace with transaction tax on non essentials.

Hells yeah, you can. Now that I know the new process, we can print off thousands of fake votes. I know how to feed them into the scanner. Since I had to stand there at the scanner for five minutes last time while the pole poll worker was flicking her bean, I think I could get a bunch in there before anyone noticed.

He doesn't care, he makes per diem also working on a pipeline. He can't really move because his fiancé has cancer (in remission) and needs treatment at one of the major hospitals there. So, they are sort of stuck.

They would make excellent candidates for our new Texas coalition though, I served with him in the Army.

I meant El Paso, I’d never disparage the reputation of Old El Paso, the completely incorruptible taco shell company.
