My personal experience is limited to smaller stuff in lakes and rivers, but getting a boat stuck by running it into the bank has always struck me as a problem of not enough water under the hull (unloading the boat being one possible solution), not a problem of not enough water in front of the bow. Maybe concerns about bending something, if they started tugging on the stern without giving the bow more room? |
