They're pretty much always looking for smoke jumpers...or used to be anyway. Those are seasonal jobs though. Project fires are also a good way to get to know a bunch of forest monkeys and get a bit immersed in the FS culture...but those jobs are also 'temporary'. It's a lot easier to get your foot in the door is you live in the area and party with them in the local pub. |
