We had none here in WI. Over 250k ballots that the law says "shall not be counted" and the judges said "whatevs no court for you."
The legislature was fucking petrified of being called bad names in the media, didn't give a shit their constituents were calling them cowards. They let the lockdown shit go on because it polled well, supposedly, and didn't want to touch election fraud shit, either. No one is coming to save us, and the only way out is through. |

I wonder how long it will take for them to run out of social workers?
https://chicago.suntimes.com/news/2021/7/13/22573899/mental-health-first-responder-police-alternative-response-lightfoot-crisis-response-care-911-cpd For the first time in Chicago, some 911 calls for mental health emergencies won’t be answered by police officers but by mental health professionals paired with paramedics. In one pilot program starting this fall, a paramedic will be dispatched with a mental health clinician for “behavioral health calls.” In another, a paramedic will work with a “recovery specialist” on calls involving substance abuse. “If they feel they are unsafe, we teach them how to disengage, get out of there and then that they can call law enforcement to come and assist them or to take over the call,” he said.” Still, Butler said there’s “nervousness among people in the mental health world about being expected to handle violent situations.” Determining who shows up first is especially important and should be assessed on a case-by-case basis, he said. |

The black person gets aggressive so the mental health responders withdraw and call police. The police roll up on the guy and shoot on the spot since they no longer are the public servants responsible for de-escalation. The end result is more black people getting killed by police? |

I was just replying to the narrow question of why they (government) didn't eventually provide people with N95s. If the people were concerned about the virus, and had any self preservation initiative, they could have ordered proper protective equipment sometime last year (respirators, filter cartridges, pre-filters, it was all back in stock, by sometime last fall). You know the reason. The government officials knew from the start that masks were ineffective for various reasons, most specifically the inability of most people to use them correctly and employ proper hygiene. They also knew the truth about this virus. This whole thing has been a money grifting scheme for officials, big pharma and others. They don't/didn't give a flying fuck about the citizens, and still don't. This is obvious as they continue to enact, or consider enacting, more and more draconian policies to mandate vaccines nationwide for a disease with a 99.8% survival rate. I have spent considerable time over the last year studying information on SARS_COV2 and COVID19. I devoured data from other country, along with our own (known to be incorrect) information. I poured over treatment regimens, and their effectiveness. I studied disease side effects, which mostly looked like not uncommon post viral syndromes, but everyone got excited over a few cases of encephalitis and strokes out of over 300 million people. Then I have spent untold hours investigating the vaccine side effects/adverse reactions, which have been obscured with lies, obfuscation and money to be made. My decisions were not made lightly, nor were they political or related to Trump. All of my disease and vaccine decisions were made using a risk/reward metric based on the best information I could find. Little to none of that information was what was released by our government. That is a criminal situation and exceedingly sad in my mind. I refuse to be a test subject for a vaccine that has already created 10+ new billionaires, even as they begin going door to door in my state. |

To be clear I am not completely anti-vax. I do however question the efficacy and safety of vaccines without any meaningful track record - of which the mRNA vaccines fall squarely. My daughters school has mandated vaccines for returning students. She submitted a religious exemption over a month ago. She just got notified that she would have to wear a mask if she isn't vaxxed. I told her don't worry. No one is going to ask you if you are vaxxed if they see you without a mask. If they do tell them that information is personal. My office allows the unvaxxed to walk around mask free. I've been doing that since that announcement and haven't been asked by anyone. If they ask I will tell them none of their business. If HR follows up I will come clean at which point I start working from home. Fair trade - I've been coming in since May of last year when only 1 in 50 or so have been the rest have been work from home. |
