If my memory isn't off, the explanation being pushed around the 1980s was that acid rain was killing the trees in the mountains of various countries.

There was a point where they tried to claim acid rain (due to pollution from areas to the west) was the cause of dead trees at the highest elevations in east Tennessee, but a later study indicated that the forest itself was producing the gases that were apparently the issue.

The Forrest's in this area are completely decimated - thousands of acres and miles of dead Trees - a lot of areas have been logged and they are trying to re-plant those areas.

it's was quite surreal to see this 1st hand - can't imagine how badly the Ski Resorts, small Hotels and Restaurants have been impacted by this.

we stayed in an area that has not been impacted yet so we where lucky to be able to Hike and enjoy the Forrest's and Mountains

And remember how all the sulfur needed to be removed from the diesel fuel?

Now we talk of seeding clouds with sulfur to make acid rain to combat Man Made Climate Change.
What's more man made than poisoning clouds to change the weather?

Yep, the 2007 switch to Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel, along with piling on emissions crap on diesels (making them less efficient, so they burn more fuel to do the same job, meaning there is more pollution to remove from their exhaust).

Maybe a few years before that, there was a study that presented the claim that jet aircraft exhaust was causing global warming, due to trace amounts of sulfur in the fuel/exhaust reacting with moisture in the air to form contrails made up of sulfur-dioxide crystals, which then linger in the air and form clouds that don't disperse as easily as normal clouds - increasing the cloud cover and retaining heat, driving up global temperatures.  I only saw one news report about it, and one aviation media article, so they must not have been able to get much traction with that one.

I still think the solution would be for the petroleum companies to just cut off the supply of gasoline to California (they can even claim they are doing their part to reduce emissions in California).

They've got plenty of electricity for all those electric vehicles, right?  What could possibly go wrong?  I mean, what could go wrong that hasn't already gone wrong in that cesspool?

They've got California government blaming them for fuel prices being as high as they are and threatening to impose penalties on them for making so much money off of California consumers, after years of that same government talking about getting rid of gasoline vehicles, so it would seem that cutting off the gasoline supply would be giving the California government exactly what they want (eliminates the profits they were making from California consumers, shuts down the gasoline vehicles of owners that can't figure out an alternative, and reduces emissions from gasoline engines).

Weird that a week or so of cloudy days invariably results in lower surface temperatures.   Maybe because they block energy from that big glowing ball of fire in the sky.

The man-made climate change crowd is a bunch of fucking retards.

Then they'd claim "malicious compliance" or some such made up bullshit.  Personally, I think it's a great idea.

I saw those but it was not as bad as it is in this area

I have videos of the Train ride up and there was only one area that had a few green trees those where apparently replanted but started to die off as well

at least they will have plenty of Firewood for the Winter

This one looks bad, and may be a dupe since it's a couple of weeks old. Mentally disturbed ROP adherent was throwing rocks at all and sundry, cops intervened, shot rock thrower. The rocks thrown in the video don't look to be of lethal size. Local race baiters are all over this one. My questions are-

-Who was he endangering, and to what extent, before the cops sent him off to meet his 72 virgins?

-Had he run out of larger and more dangerous missiles before the video began?

My father started teaching me to drive on my ninth birthday, as I recall (started teaching me to shoot, the previous summer).  I was moving trucks around a freight terminal at around 13 or 14.

...but I wasn't allowed out on paved roads until I had my learner's permit (15), at which point we were off to the interstate and Kentucky Lake in the pickup (with my father in the right seat).

The top level is evil - The Soroses, the Klaus Schmidts.  The majority are stupid... just NPCs following their programming.  Then there's a second tier - the Al Gores, Bidens, Pelosis, Schumers etc who profit (or try to) from the stupidity of the NPCs but who are not smart enough to rise to the Evil tier.

Some of the damage shown to one of the cruisers looks to come from sizable rocks.  The one that caused the large dent would have been lethal if it hit someone in the head.  Maybe don’t throw rocks at the police.
