Yesterday in Akron:
 WATCH | Protesters gather in Akron after Jayland Walker grand jury decision Last night: Akron police arrest 6 people during Jayland Walker protests Police said over 60 vehicles were involved and created “a risk to public safety and an undeniable concern for uninvolved citizens traveling in the area.” Officers added some drivers were blocking traffic and others were creating disturbances. Officers began making traffic stops and said during several stops, people approached them on foot while others yelled obscenities from the distance. Today's "nonviolence" protest starting at the First Congregational Church and moving to the justice center is supposedly going to be streamed here:  Justice for Jayland Walker (March for Justice Kick-Off) I've been looking for live traffic cams along the expected route, but haven't found anything so far. Saw a reply where someone stated that conservatives had pushed through the state's open carry law, and it applied to everybody, so conservatives have no right to complain when the other side uses that law. The left seems to have a habit of saying things like that, while ignoring details that could contradict their claim, such as whether or not the firearm was in a legal configuration (hard to see details of a black firearm carried by someone dressed in black) and whether or not the person carrying it was complying with any restrictions in the state carry law (I think Georgia doesn't allow carry during protest marches - likely passed due to past KKK marches - but I'm not familiar with Ohio's carry laws). |

Manuel Teran's death: DeKalb County releases autopsy for 'Cop City' protester According to the autopsy report, Teran did not have gunpowder residue on their hands. Officials claimed Teran fired the first shot at a state trooper. Officers then responded with gunfire.
