Cool footage. But hard to tell what happened. At least 2 tanks made it to the trench line and caused damage, fired down the trench. The editing, as usual, was so choppy and frantic that it was hard to tell what happened.

Dos the UA no longer have Stunga, TOW, Javelin, etc? It seems they have gone to a drone only approach which looks to be problematic. Or maybe those trench lines were unmanned?

Yeah but it's a howitzer with 15km range? Still seems like a great idea.

What about an SPG that doesn't have the full armored turret, sporting a long range 105 gun, maybe based on a larger vehicle than the HMMV?

Objest has crossed polish border at 6:43 a.m. from the direction of the Ukrainian city of Chervonograd. This place has already been attacked several times by the Russian side due to the power plant located there.

Polish military assured that the object was "under full control, under full supervision". But as per polish military due to weather conditions they were unable to issue a command to target it. The object disappeared after approximately 25 km on Polish territory.

The object is probably still on Polish territory, although the possibility that it left polish territory is not ruled out. Search operation for the object has been launched. The activities are focused on the Tyszowce commune in the Lublin province.

Ukrainian Military Pages reports that the Ukrainian military has initiated the formation of at least 2 brigades in the 16x designation range.

These units will be made up out of Ukrainians currently living outside of Ukraine with for example Poland and Czechia having previously stated their intention to aid in the recruitment for such units.

Per Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Défense around 83.500 Ukrainian citizens living abroad have had their military registration information updated through the Reserve+ platform.

The formation of further brigades in the 16x range is expected to follow in the near future.

@rustem_umerov
:

Overnight, russia attacked our cities again.
Civilians suffered, houses were destroyed, and critical infrastructure was damaged.

This once again proves that for victory we need long-range capabilities and the lifting of restrictions on strikes on the enemy's military facilities.

Ukraine is preparing its answers. Weapons of own production.

Deep condolences to the families of the victims.
Together, we will stand and win.
Glory to Ukraine! 🇺🇦

Now we just need a testing area.

https://www.coaspire.com/raacm

CoAspire is a recent prime contractor for the Air Force for RAACM™, a Rapidly Adaptable Affordable Cruise Missile.

RAACM is exportable and available for sale for air, land and sea applications, dependent on determinations by the US Government as Foreign Military Sale or Direct Commercial Sale Opportunity.

CoAspire is working with a large aerospace and defense company as CoAspire’s subcontractor along with many other large and small suppliers in the US and overseas, to meet challenges highlighted in this Air Force Assocation (AFA) Journal article:

https://www.airandspaceforces.com/to-surge-weapons-production-air-force-may-accept-less-efficiency/ According to the article:

“Making munitions modular and with an open-systems architecture can potentially speed up design and production.”

Analysts have predicted a war with China over Taiwan could require hitting upwards of 50,000 targets, and a high tempo of airstrikes could empty munitions bins in less than two weeks.”

A criminal case was opened on the fact of a fire at the Omsk Oil Refinery (NPZ). This was reported on August 26 in the main office of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation for the region in Telegram.

"A criminal case has been opened on the fact of a fire on the territory of the Omsk refinery, on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Article 217 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the requirements of industrial safety of hazardous production facilities, resulting in negligent infliction of serious harm to human health")," the report says.

It was preliminarily established that as a result of the emergency, several employees of the enterprise were injured of varying severity.

A fire at the Omsk refinery, as a result of which, presumably, two people were injured, was reported earlier in the day. The area of the fire, according to the latest data, reached 1 thousand square meters. Six pieces of equipment and 28 personnel were involved in the fight against the fire.

According to the press service of the enterprise, the fire at the plant will not affect its production program. The refinery is operating normally.

The governor of the region, Vitaly Khotsenko, said that information about the victims is being clarified.

Ukraine has the ability to fix their manpower issues for the next 2-3 years.

They need to do it now unless there is an issue equipping them.

US is treaty-bound to defend Philippines. This sure looks like at attack at sea. Why has the US been ignoring Chinese provocations? They won't stop just because nobody is fighting back. That's not how that works. US needs to stand up for its ally. Otherwise, we won't have any.

ETA -  delaying war makes loss more likely as the US only weakens its position over time relative to China and China gains strength. There's nothing to gain by playing nice with China over Philippines.

Coming in under ineffective artillery, rolling up and down the treeline with impunity with little to no observed return fire, and then rolling back out along the same track without holding the objective reeks of theater.

Which doesn't really help, because if US leaders had really been moving on all the DIME dimensions, we could have clarified to Putin well before he launched that the costs to do this might be more than Russia can bear.

Well, when you see the other countries that are allowed to get those missile systems it tells where the possible threat is.

Australia is so far the only other country getting both of these systems, and making them under licence in a few years.

Yes.  That is all I can say, both systems are just very new and production is being increased for our use as fast as possible before we have excess production capability to allow to other allied countries at this time.  Norway was considered for export for the ER GMLRS, but that was in 2021, and things have obviously changed causing the denial of that export sale for now.
