I don't think Hannity is a bad guy, he just needs to rethink this.
I think he is correct re some people's point of view - the public at large isn't going to think, "Oh isn't it great that those guys protesting the shutdown have AR-15s slung around their shoulders." No, he is right - it will be just the opposite. On the other hand, protests make some people nervous, Sean. So don't protest either? Some governors have simply pretended the Constitution doesn't exist. Open carry where legal (and it should be legal everywhere) in these states where governors have gone totalitarian? I can see why it's being done. |

I disagree with Sean.
I'm in favor of undermining my own purpose by giving everyone, from politicians to the media, a distracting point the can focus on. After all, if I don't bring my guns, everyone will assume I don't have any. In fact I like to bring all 10k rounds from my safe in a red wagon that I strap to my level III vest-- to make sure they know I have plenty of ammo too! |
