I love my 1911's. I own four; A Colt MK4, a S&W E series S/S, a SIG Emperor Scorpion and a SA Range Officer 9mm.
I also have a Glock 21sf. I shoot all of them well! The G21 is my home defense pistol with an Insight M3 light that sits in my headboard every night. 13 rounds of good hollow points.

Never had a g21. I do have a g19 gen 4. I’ve had 8 feed issues out of approx 1000 rnds. Rock island 1911. Zero issues ever. Probably 1500 rnds thru it. Even came with nice vz grips
For $550 not a bad gun |

I like my 21. I have a 10mm conversion barrel so it's my camping/hunting sidearm.
I've been struggling with getting a 1911, specifically a RIA. I run into this every so often, about every 2-4 years, of wanting another 1911. I think it's because my Glocks are just so boringly glock-ish. But, when i actually shoot and carry them i have 100% confidence in them. |
