Damn good episode. It’s like ‘Heat’ meets Star Wars.

Also, Cassian doing Cassian things at the end.  Plus, like that they thought of real inertia like the Expanse. Oh, and if you haven't watched the episodes, stay out of the thread until you do. Not hard, I do it every week. |

I rewatched it this evening. Only complaint I have is that the blasters sounded off. And the TIE-fighters weren't screaming but I suspect that was subdued for the scene, which was amazing.

This show has one thing that the other series are missing.... stakes.
Going into the mission, you didn't know what was going to happen and who was going to make it out alive. After now seeing the episode, I can say that all the buildup was worth it. |

This series is doing a fantastic job of capturing the organic and gritty angle that I love. You feel that every character is fully developed, if you only see them for a few moments.
Latest episode felt very much like A Bridge Too Far in its action scenes. Not fast, but definitely not stagnant. |

Episode 6 really paid off. Looks like the people that planned this robbery never read a Dick Marcinko book and failed to save a seat for “Murphy”. Cassian getting the kid’s manifesto at the end… an idealist is about to be born. Great writing.

I thought the girls were going to kiss after touching hands. Close one! I recall they discussed marching with weapons pointed out? In this episode everyone had their weapon at the low ready pointed inward toward the other person. |

I'm not happy that "the message" is being pushed in this show even if only slightly so far.
I do like the show, so I was disappointed about the lesbian crap being slid in there. I'm afraid this is only the beginning for this in Star Wars Disney properties. It's a shame, but for that crap the show has been very good so far. |

I thought the military bits were a bit silly but, with a few exceptions, I'm resigned to no one in Hollyweird ever getting it right.  "Company...HALT!" to a four man "squad".
