Most coaches would have nowadays.

If Aggies are smart, they’ll run the ball. 3 timeouts and nearly 2 minutes.

ND will be expecting the pass.

Still prefer Elko..  offense needs some work….especially the passing game.  Saw some interesting play design, but the WRs couldn’t get a step open at all.

Riley Leonard is a local kid.  It was interesting seeing him pull off an upset last year when he was at Duke.  Seems like a good kid.  He was helping Phillip Rivers out at the new St Michael Catholic high with his team earlier this year.

They should fire Kevin Barbay the OC. Seriously they should cut their loses now. He sucked ass at Miss St last year and I couldn't be more glad to see is ass out the door.

I'm watching to see how UW's QB Will Rodgers does.

He had a lot of haters at MSU, but was a serviceable QB in the air raid system. Interested to see how he does at UW in another system that wasn't Kevin Barbay's shit offense.

Don't expect him to do many QB runs though.

Agreed.

Not having great WRs can be a valid excuse for not putting up video game stats.

However, it’s not a valid excuse for this:

And, TBH, he looked even worse than the stats, IMO.

Gotta give their DB's credit, too, for almost totally eliminating any sort of passing game out of TAMU.

I didn’t say weigman didn’t suck tonight.  Just that I would still rather have Elko over Jimbo.

Weigman seemed really off.  Don’t know if it is a mental thing, talent thing, rattled…what.  But he was off for sure.  Playing one of the best sets of DBs he will see doesn’t help, but it was bad.  He didn’t need to play great, just well enough to help take the pressure off the run game…and not throw 2 picks.

Will be interesting to see if the backups get some more playing time next week against McNeese.

I believe he was referring to your “saw some interesting play design, but the WRs couldn’t get a step open at all” comment which was, seemingly, attempting to hang the passing game incompetence around the WRs’ necks.

That’s what I figured.  I was meaning it didn’t help the situation.  They really couldn’t get any separation though. I don’t think A&M has a real deep threat right now.  There are some tall guys but they are not able to take advantage of it.

The play design I saw that was decent was running plays, but I confusingly didn’t clarify that and tied it in with the crap WRs play

These two pics sum up Weigmans game….they were right after the rushing touchdown.

Georgia / Clemson game.   There are always missed calls in every game played. Fact. But I thought the hit on Carson Beck in the early part of the game during a pass was late / possibly targeting or at least roughing the passer. He was hit high and appeared helmet to helmet. I had no alcohol at all yesterday.  So that wasn’t it. Anyone else see it ?  Go Dawgs. Attachment Attached File
