Yes, they implemented the "Jack Lambert" clause even without Beck actually wearing a skirt.   Pass interference on long balls?  Total crapshoot across the board.   Maybe there is a place for AI in the game.

Not a fan of USC for reasons, but LSU by far is the worst experience I've had with a fanbase during a game.  Kids were coming up to us, flipping us off, and yelling obscenities.  I've been to many OU/texas weekends and while curse words made be thrown around every so often on the Friday night before the game, it was always within boundaries and the Saturday was all in good spirits.  The LSU game though felt like they really wanted to harm OU fans.

Good first win for the Big-12 Arizona Wildcats.  Even if it was New Mexico

McMillan had the second most yards ever for a Big-12 receiver with over 300 and 4 TD's.  Good running game too.

The D needs work.  They were getting killed on slants and not enough pressure on the QB.

Weigman seemed really off.  Don’t know if it is a mental thing, talent thing, rattled…what.  But he was off for sure.  Playing one of the best sets of DBs he will see doesn’t help, but it was bad.  He didn’t need to play great, just well enough to help take the pressure off the run game…and not throw 2 picks.

Will be interesting to see if the backups get some more playing time next week against McNeese.

Even a mediocre performance by Weigman and the Aggies win.

I think you’re way better off with Elko over Fisher.  Fisher left FSU a dumpster fire and if he’d have stayed at A&M longer there would be a deep hole to dig out of.  He’ll need some time, but I think he’ll do a good job there.  Fisher is good with Xs and Os but doesn’t have a grasp of how to maintain discipline required to win consistently and it makes for a more difficult transition when a new coach takes over.

They have THE worst fanbase in college football, IME and IMO.

And if it wasn’t for Philadelphia, LSU would have the worst fan base in all of American sports.

I’ve been saying that for years.  There’s technology available to make a referee’s job much easier and there’s no reason not to use it.  I’m not against sports betting, but there’s no way that it’s not going to eventually affect the outcome of some games in the future.  Getting ahead of potential problems is better than having to clean up a mess later on.

LSU had a bad run of fan problems several years back, but I haven’t heard as many complaints over the past few years.  They were getting quite a reputation among out of conference opponents not only in football but baseball as well.  Hopefully that’s gotten under control.

I didn’t see it, but every game seems to have a call or two like that.  I really think targeting needs to go away and just leave it as a 15 yard penalty.  If the same player does it again, throw him out, but get rid of the automatic ejection.

Agreed, especially when there's so many iffy calls.  Seeing a starter get tossed in the first quarter just sucks for everyone.

LSU’s “fan problems” haven’t improved anymore than Biden’s cognitive problems have improved.

I was down in NOLA in 2012 for the BCSCG between BAMA and LSU. LSU fans are some of the worst I've ever encountered. There was only 1 LSU fan that wasn't an asshole. He was an older gentleman that actually talked to use about the game (this was maybe 3 hours before kickoff) and how he think it was going to go. But everyone else? Total assholes that would flip you off or cuss you out just for wearing the other teams colors/logos. I just wanted to have a good time, but they made it almost unbearable.

We also met the kicker for the Saints. He was a cool guy. We asked him how the Saints and NOLA, in general, liked LSU and its fans. He said, "Well, I can't really say anything nice about most of them. Most of the guys on the team don't like them because they act like they own this city as well as Baton Rouge."

In reality, I’ve never seen any outrageous behavior on campus. Jeering of other fans is the usual “Tiger Bait” chant followed by an invite to drink and eat at the tailgate. Sorry y’all have had poor experiences.

Most LSU fans seem to be pretty delusional about how bad their fanbase is.  The only way to even have a chance at getting the majority of them to open their eyes to the truth would be forcing them to do this:

Go to an LSU away SEC game and be decked out in LSU gear.  Walk around by yourself through heavy tailgating for two hours.

Go to an LSU home game against Alabama, Ole Miss, etc. and be decked out in the visiting team’s gear.  Walk around by yourself through heavy tailgating for two hours.

I've cooked and gave away a lot of good food tailgating at football and baseball games. Doesn't matter what shirt you are wearing. You might get some ribbing but we're pretty nice and feed fans of all types.

A lot of it falls under don't start nothing, won't be nothing.

I don't know how Miss St won against them last year. I definitely don't want to play them this year, but we get a chance against their rival next week with ASU.

AZ is much improved from when we first played them.

Yeah, I've never personally dealt with LSU fans. But they're famous for being A-holes.

Sorry about your experience bro, people should be able to polite and civil at games, everyone should be there to have fun.

Lsu fans have a reputation, but dang the tailgates are delicious.

I have no doubt about that lol. When I went down to Louisiana my first and last time, because it was for a JRTC training deployment. They had the best food in the Chow Hall out of any installation I've been at.

My lsu fan experience is less than sec folks, but got lsu family members and mostly the 2015 Texas bowl where they were mostly okay, plenty of jerks but plenty of good folks who expected to win... which they did
