The GOAT did this;
He took a gig with one of the worst teams in the league and took them to the SB in the first year. During the playoffs, he defeated the other two contenders for GOAT, Brees and Rogers. In the SB, he defeated the latest QB for which the term 'GOAT' is already being bandied about without sufficient justification, Mahomes. In winning his 7th SB out of 10 appearances, he has set a record that most likely will never be equaled. Think about that - he has led teams to 10 Super Bowls and won 7 of them. After his last SB win with the Patriots, I thought he should have retired a winner. When he went to Tampa, I thought he would exhaust himself trying to make something out of nothing. I am happy to say I was completely wrong on both counts. I've given up trying to guess what this cat is going to do. BTW, I have never been a Patriots or Brady 'fan', but I do have an appreciation for excellence, and there is no question that Brady is the greatest QB of all time, and apparently he ain't finished yet. |
