Wacky religion aside, he seems like a well sorted out actor. Everyone who works with him always says he's great, from shooting, to driving, to flying to martial arts work. Guy is a top level actor.

Don't remember watching one of his movies that I didn't enjoy. He seems very dedicated to his job and seems like he always trains hard to prepare for his roles. Wacky religion aside, he seems like a great guy.

Not too many movies of his I didnt enjoy. He also has a hell of a car and plane collection, including classic war birds. Knows how to run them damn well too. I don't give one fuck what religion he chooses.

I saw an interview with a director who shared a house with him during filming. They played tennis and the director kept telling Cruise he was losing points for hitting the ball back out of bounds. Cruise seemed mystified and the director figured he'd basically never played against anyone except underlings who let him win. He also said Cruise was super anal about doing the dishes.

I thought Cruise was full of siht when he said he didn't know anything about net porn, but the guy has lived a weird life where he was rich very young and probably has never had any real friends as an adult. You can see how Scientology was able to prey on him.

Guy has an amazing work ethic and seems to be pretty careful about what projects he picks, even if he does to a lot of generic action movies.

Dude likes motorcycles and he makes decent films. Really one of the last dude's making legit blow shit up summer blockbusters anymore in the likes of Die Hard, Terminator type stuff without all the touchy feely nonsense. And he does his own stunts for the most part. He is legit and an icon in action film. One of the last still doing it. I don't care that he is a complete loon in everyday life, not looking to hang out with the guy.

On paper he seems like a cool guy, but there is something about him that screams kook to me.

Yeah I don't get the hate. I think it all started from that Oprah appearance, where he lost his shit over his new fiance. Epic cringe moment, and people just don't like that.
