Many, many years ago, I had alcohol poisoning from finishing a gallon of 12 yo scotch. I was out for 2 days and instead of taking me to the hospital, “ friends “ thought that as long as I had a watcher, I would be ok. . I started off with probably a six pack of beer and a few wine coolers then started on the scotch.
Way too much alcohol. |

Things that did not happen. He might have drank 2 bottles of vodka a day (smaller bottles) but 2 gallons would kill you. My math is close - 2 gallons is 250 oz. If you drink 25 oz in a less than an hour, you will have a very high BAC that could be life threatening. No reason to take this guy seriously.

I'd believe a handle a day. Maybe one and a half.
Beyond that, I'm calling bullshit. |

We would do this s all the time. We'd run out of coke, well, let's shoot some Jack." Pretty sure he would be dead. View Quote Yep, buried my best friend when he was 30. He was up to about a handle of vodka a day, and wouldn't even be noticeably drunk, but it killed him within a couple of years. |

When I was in H.S. I knew a guy that died of Alcohol poisoning and asphyxiation.
He was a bit older and out of school. The guys name (no sh!t) was Forest Crump (well before we had Forest Gump, lol)... He apparently was at one of the weekly hood parties we always had and drank way too much Everclear and some other shit. He was in pretty bad shape, went and laid down and his G/f went to check on him and he was gone. I think the puking in his sleep is what did him in, but if the reports I heard were true and his BAC was what it was, he woulda probably died that night either way. Dude was (really a mega stoner) but somehow a very popular ladies man. Its a shame he went so early. |

Some roadie or handler diluted the fuck outta his stuff is what happened, and he's to stupid to realize it.

I've read stories about people dying by butt chugging liquor, or girls using vodka soaked tampons. I'm no medical professional, but wouldn't injecting hard liquor straight into your veins have a similar effect?

Quoted: He has never drank 171 shots in one day. Neither has anyone else. View Quote Yeah, you are wrong about that. I worked in an alcohol rehab facility for many years. It was not uncommon to have people who drank 4 or 5 1.75 liter bottles of vodka in a day. Vodka is always the main choice of the hardcore alcoholic… 1.75 liters is a little over 59 ounces, so 59 shots. 3 bottles would get you a little over 171 shots. |

Even adjusting for that, I don't believe that it would be possible for anyone to finish 5 x 1.75L bottles of vodka in a day, unless they are over 650lbs and have a 33% higher alcohol metabolic rate. |

Quoted: I'm thinking that he is confusing "handles" with "gallons." One "handle" is 1.75 Liters, or about half a gallon. So if he drank two handles a day, that would be one gallon, not two. BUT, STILL, TWO HANDLES A DAY WILL KILL YOU PRETTY QUICKLY. View Quote When I read the interview that was my take on it. He was confusing half's with gull gallons. Still a shit load per day. |

I do not care how heavy you are or how long you have been drinking. That is at least a medical emergency level and likely lethal level for just about everyone. |

View Quote In one verifiable case, a man was on his way to the treatment center. He called a cab, got in the back, and the cabbie said he pulled out two handle bottles of vodka and drank them both. I interviewed the driver and he showed me the bottles. When they got to the treatment center and we found out what he had done, he went straight to the ER. He blew a .72 about an hour after arrival and had to stay in the ER for 5 days to sober up. There was a special unit attached to the ER for patients like him,. After working with alcoholics, and going to their houses, I absolutely believe there are some that drank that much. Almost daily. Tolerance for a drug is a thing, yo. |

Yeah, Andre was 7’ 4” tall and over 500 lbs. he was drinking beer, so probably 5-6% alcohol, whereas Lee claims he was drinking vodka, so 40-50% alcohol. I’ve stood right next to Tommy Lee. He’s right around 6’ 2” and probably weighs about 180. He’s a skinny bean pole. |
