You guys think the FBI is gonna try to spiff up their "non partisan" image by sacrificing some folks before mid terms? This move has three purposes: 1. Calm down the public. They are probably already running AI against their wide area domestic ELINT collection to predict public mood and potential for actual direct action by the public, and it's probably telling them they need to let some air out of the tires on the open flaunting of corruption. 2. Brush up the FIBs public image, create a scenario they can point to and say "SEE, we are NOT biased" for when they are caught doing super corrupt shit some more, maybe election related, and 3. Influence the voters in the upcoming midterms. |

Maybe it is time to return the FBI to their roots. Unarmed investigators with limited powers. David

Quoted: This is actually a pretty big deal. The OP should amend the OP and possibly the thread title. This wasn't just the guy behind burying the Hunter laptop investigation, this was the guy behind the Mar-a-Lago raid, and he was also involved in the Russia collusion hoax. This guy has been involved in pretty much ALL of the politically biased bullshit we've seen for the past few years. He is also one of the assholes who's been accused by whistleblowers of trying to inflate "domestic violent extremist" numbers by classifying crimes falsely and other shenanigans. Here's more from Just the News: FBI special agent who opened Trump investigation reportedly escorted out of Bureau ...Whistleblowers alleged that Thibault concealed the partisan nature of evidence from FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland to secure their approval to open an investigation into former President Donald Trump in 2020 unrelated to the raid, according to information made public by Sen. Charles Grassley. Those whistleblower allegations have raised questions about the bureau as it also deals with the fallout of the raid on Trump's home earlier this month. In that matter, the public release of the affidavit that accompanied the search warrant revealed the warrant application relied heavily on information from news articles, including a CBS Miami piece titled "Moving Trucks Spotted At Mar-a-Lago" and a Breitbart News article in which former Trump adviser Kash Patel discussed the classified status of documents the bureau previously removed from the estate on behalf of the National Archives. Grassley confirmed to Just the News prior to the raid that Thibault had been removed from his post and reassigned to an unspecified position. I don't actually believe that the FBI has suddenly developed an integrity streak and is trying to right the wrongs of the past few years. The entire agency is corrupt from head to toe and needs to be dismantled. More likely they are quite aware that the agency's reputation is in tatters and half of the country (rightly) no longer trusts them, and they're offering this asshole up to try and pretend to make it right. He'll be replaced by someone just as bad, but he's become a lightning rod they could no longer tolerate. View Quote Weird, he is one of them, knows everything and was part of most of it, yet they cut him loose instead of killing him..Does not make sense, unless this is some kind of set up .... |

Quoted: no. This means there is REAL proof somewhere that's about to get out or get further coverage. Something is about to hit, and this is their sacrificial lamb. This guy is probably some low performing asshole who worked tangentially on the case. Or worse, he's a good kid or shown he might be conservative. they'll hang the entire thing on him, declare themselves cleaned up and say "look! we took swift action!" Meanwhile the entire rotten mess will still keep targeting lawful conservative Americans, will still keep working with the intel community to target Trump and anyone agrees with him, and still keep being lying shitbags who have no business being out of prison, let alone being part of the top law "enforcement" group in the country. Quoted: Weird, he is one of them, knows everything and was part of most of it, yet they cut him loose instead of killing him..Does not make sense, unless this is some kind of set up .... View Quote The story says that he was moved to another "unspecified position". It's not easy to fire federal employees and it's typically not something that happens immediately. My guess would be placed on admin leave, and then he may have gotten pissed and quit. FBI doesn't appear to want to talk details. He'll land on his feet. He's fighting for The Cause and will find a home somewhere in a Democrat-aligned think tank or something where he can continue the work in another capacity. They won't kill him. They're probably happy with his work, he's just a lightning rod now and they need to put him somewhere else. |

Probably just transfered to some other high paying, out of sight job like CIA or something.
