I'm about 87% sure those are photos from SOF magazine in the 80's.

My head hurts looking at that.  Mauser action basically in an AKMS sheetmetal chassis, with AK barrel hardware/gastube/sights, I think.

WTF is coming out of the cleaning rod hole on it?  It look like a slinky.

It may be, at least in part, a clone of one, but that's not a P14/M1917.  Look at the rounded edges where the receiver rail meets the receiver ring.  That's because someone milled it with a regular round endmill.

I think its "short" action too, and probably takes AK-47 mags.

Captured weapons by #Oromo Liberation Army (#OLA): 3x AKM(S)/T56(-1) rifles, 4x Chinese Type 56-2 rifles, 1x —likely— Bulgarian AKK rifle.

Other then the misaligned holes in the handguard, thats kind of cool.  Maybe take the furniture off and replace with wood.

1) Rarest, coolest unobtainium, and

2) Complete cobbled-together shit

I wish I had pictures. In 2003 my BN helped guard the MeK compound. I walked through their small arms storage bunkers a few times. These guys were fanatics about care and maintenance. Stuff going back to WW1 stored in packing grease still.

On of the IPs near our fob was using a 1911 not an A1. A no shit 1911.

The hate in that country for any sort of butt stock attached to a shoulder-fired weapon is baffling.

For $150.00, I’d still take it though.
