With these calls, a bit less than half my BBIG is covered at $3.50 and $4.00.
Didn't want to sell too many calls with underlying at 2.92 and my average cost at 3.58. (that's 3.58 after the calls I sold today and the $3 shares I'm buying this weekend)
I'd love to make 5-10% per week churning calls, but don't want to get called away below my average cost, even if I did get my latest 1600 shares at $2.80.

Earlier this week I wrote $4.50 BBIG calls for Jan 21st at $25/contract
My average share price is just over $5 before calculating options premiums
Wrote them on half my shares

For sure.

I've been selling all the way down. I'm not sure my real cost average because I let them all go away on some puts I bought.  Right now I'm a little under $3 on new shares.   I've got about 2/3 with $3 calls and rest at $4.

I figure if it gets a huge spike I will roll them out a year and make more than my cost off of the volatility.   Then just sit back and let them decay.

I was just being lazy yesterday w/a set it and forget it limit buy.
Need to get back on the daily or weekly charts and set a course for strategic buys.

If MVIS takes off, I still have plenty of room to average down. My ACB is ~$14.25, right there w/Seval Oz.
And if it really takes off I'm happy w/what I have.

I want some more SENS but waiting to see how/if BBIG plays out as I'll turn all that into SENS.

Holy cow V6, just saw this, congratulations! Hope mama and the baby are both well and all of you are getting a little sleep!

And, of course, Merry Christmas to everyone...best wishes for a healthy and prosperous New Year!

Our Griff turns three today. Mrs Osprey is busy baking birthday doggie cookies. I learned a long time ago just to smile and stay out of it

It probably will, but no one in GA, FL or AL even mentioned the WuFlu this weekend.  Spent 4 days with residents, ages 3 to 92, of those states, no mention of vaccines, masks and no distancing was observed.  Tons of eating more home cooked Christmas meals and desserts than normal peeps should, hugging aunts, uncles, parents, grandparents.  Drinking with cousins, laughing at their kids antics, etc.  Not really concerned with the markets right now, 2021 Christmas restored my hope, even if just a little bit.

That being said, MVIS to the moon tomorrow!

Pre market is all smoke and mirrors anyway. I predict the usual 940am huge sell off and drop of bbig followed by scratching away all day long with a close of -.06

Edit - sell-off took place immediately. I was a little off.

While we are waiting for MVIS to hit $189/share, I am putting together a tech only portfolio for 2022.  I anticipate a market pullback in the 1st quarter so I am freeing up cash and vetting a list of names to pick up.  Anyone else doing this?  Any suggestions or favorites?

Already decided on these but only at the right price:

MSFT
AAPL
CRWD
QCOM
ZS

AVGO
CYBR
OKTA

I have tracking shares for TWLO, NVDA, QS,

This is the remainder of the list I have so far and am still considering/vetting:
PYPL
NFLX
TSM
ASML
MU
INTC
GOOG
AMZN
AMD
MELI, BABA or instead SHOP to avoid china exposure
VRNS
SAIL
FTNT
ORCL

Questions.  I have many questions.   Why those 3 names?  Are you looking for short term cap gains, or to 'day trade'?  Do you have other portfolio with longer term items and what about income - dividends and interest?

This is one of the few I have not sold for the tax loss, might keep it for now.

BNGO

Oppenheimer says that Bionano Genomics (NASDAQ:BNGO) is a buy due to strong 2021 sales of its Saphyr System for genome imaging.
The firm has a $14 price target on shares (332% upside based on Thursday's close).

Analyst Kevin DeGeeter says that his estimate is for Bionano to place 156 Saphyr Systems this year, above the 150 target set by the company.
"Multiple clinical validation studies to support reimbursement are enrolling well and commercial adoption is leading to higher consumable pull-through that should impact 4Q21 and 2022," he writes.

This is a gambling account that keeps me away from the Craps table - I have a 401k and Roth for actual retirement savings that I don't mess with.

I've been playing with those three for the past year or so. I try to keep my gambling stocks around the $20 mark for some reason - just a weird rule I have in my head.
