Lol. I bought mvis at 4.55 over a year ago. Watched it like a hawk every day for over a year. It always went down.
Then I sold it at 4.50 or something. And boom it goes up. I'm good at this. |

Anyone hear of this strategy? Essentially profiting off the overall bull trend. Goes like this:
Buy ITM SPY calls that are 30 days out. If they look like they're going to expire worthless, roll them out 30 more days. Otherwise sell them whenever they hit 50% gain. How much does it cost to roll a call out like that? |

View Quote LOL, a lot. ETA: Not as much as I would have thought. But still, rolling out isn't helping much. You're looking at around 6-700 bucks for 1x ITM SPY call a month out. You're looking at selling (if they look like they expire worthless). You'll need to offset those with more than 50% gains. |

It's looking like I need to settle on an exit strategy. If this thing squeezes again I don't want to be left holding everything and looking at all the profit I could have taken.
I don't know what price target I'm comfortable getting out at. Especially because most of my shares are LTCG now. |

I'm contemplating a new strategy with a sale order at a yet to be determined price point. It needs to be in the double digits to make sense for me though. |
