Saw a statistic today that said the S&P has gone up the First 100 Days of a new Presidency 14 out of it's 24 year existence. An average of 7.4% for Democrats and .5% for Republicans.
Is that because Dems pump shit up with their "stimulus" bills? |

I seem to recall seeing that the market has over time performed best with a Democrat in the White House/control of the Senate and a Republican led House. Unsure of the why, myself other than a divided government means less gets accomplished. |

I was kicking myself for selling off 10% in the final minutes for a possible dip in the morning. The price shot up 2.5 dollars immediately after close.
Yet, here we are... Eta - If I have a market buy queued, with no price showing, will it automatically purchase at the price at opening? |

looks like we are picking up good support at the $25 level. Lets hope that holds till open and then takes off from there when the retail crowd wakes up.

Yes, that will generally be at, or close, to the opening price. The only thing that could hamper it is if Ms MVIS takes off at the bell. It's not a big deal but you might see your price $.50 higher than opening or something like that. Again, that really only happens in things like IPO's, etc when there is a lot of confusion. I wouldn't worry about it too much. |
