Crazy volume in the first 15mins. 33.5+ Million. Yesterday first 15 minutes did 23.5 million, so lots of cashing out there probably.
Last week you had entire days that didn't see half that volume. |

Random questions, how do I know if I'm required to make quarterly estimated tax payments? Seems I might be required to do this since incurring significant profits on the sale of stock.
Will my broker (TD) inform me? Also, an recommendations for funds that I can park something like $25K into until April? Would like to keep earning on the cash I squirrel away to pay the Fed. Oh, and on the topic of bourbons...wife was very happy to see the gains "we" made and helped me celebrate last night. After I got in from tilling the garden at dark She had a Jeffersons poured for me in my yeti tumber. 3 ice cubes, a splash of propel water. She let me get about half way through it before suggesting we shower. |

Closest I've found to a cash equivalent but down to about .6%-.7%. I think PenFed is paying .45% on their savings acct. . CIT bank is paying .5 I think. |

Not profit taking, MMs and hedges dropped millions in a takedown. This should look familiar by now. LAZR is right there in trail, and the NASDAQ is taking a punch despite what are expected to be very positive reports.
SSR tripped, for what that's worth. GME is up about $11, guess we're going to find out what kind of stones the WSB have. |

I bought 75 shares @ $26 ($1950), but only had $1752 cash in the account, it let me buy the rest on margin, and now that the price has fallen to $22 range, I am getting a notice of my margin being short. Ironic that I have to pull money from my checking account to cover this, but have "thousands" in Robin Hood and Schwab, as well as 25 shares purchased @ $13 in TDAmeritrade. Guess I could have sold some of the 25 to cover it. Oh well. I will get it back and then some eventually. |
