I am not going to say it's over by any means, but today seems like it was a hell of a bear raid. Goddamn.
If/When a buyout happens it will be interesting to look back at the trading activity to see if there are any lessons to be learned. |

I just need to be doing a better job of information control to my wife. She's not a trend person and doesn't have the attention span on this topic to realize that $120,000 - $100,000 is still a good thing. this is what I get when I over share. |

I sold Friday @ $18 and was stoked... Then yesterday happened and I was pissed I sold Friday so I bought back in at $22 and made a bunch of money. I almost sold at the end of the day but didn't. FML. I mean, I am still up overall but damn. I could have probably doubled my shares by now if I was a little better at this. |

On a side note, EEENF is up 37% today. I am still super negative and bag holding on it, but it a small bright spot today.
Please don't make any sudden moves and scare it. |

So 70% of my account is MVIS but I do have a few positions in other things, couple being Leaps on F and GE. So GE beats earnings today and sinks thru the floor. Can't make this shit up. F earnings are tomorrow and I fully expect the same to happen.

Lesson 301 from this. Take half of profits out on days like Friday and Monday and at minimum hold for dip. Not take some and roll it right back in at very little dips 🤣

Might not as bad of a drop but still down. Thursday leading up to earnings call is a toss up. WSB seems to be looking for the door. |

I asked one of the FC guys about the remaining share authorization, and he says MVIS sold the entire shelf during the last round of financing, and would have to come to the shareholders before Holt could dilute again. Assuming that's accurate, it takes one huge short term potential negative (it's actually a mixed blessing...short term neg, long term pos) in this situation off the table.

Being a total noob to this trading business, I think I know the answer, but I'm going to ask anyway....... Do you get hit with STCG taxes on swing trades ??
