What is the consensus on Krsipy Kreme?
IPO today, lowered entry from $24ish to $17 due to lack of interest? Look for ticker DNUT if you're into that sort of thing |

They already IPO'ed once before, and IIRC it was a flop. Then they went private again and are now IPOing again after just a few years.
Doesn't give me a lot of confidence. |

WTF when I log into Schwab today I see that our lady MVIS has a big ass rating of F. It's not had a rating on this page before, and the only one I saw was AMC and GME when they were getting berated in the news. What gives?

View Quote Lol fuck all that bullshit. 90% or more of the ones on fidelity are stupid as fuck too. They are not forward facing they are rear facing is my best assumption. Anything except for maybe msft is a shitty stock to fidelity lol. To be fair they use an average of analysts ratings. So basically they are averaging the shit that is being paid for and pumped and fake bashed. So take it for what it’s worth. Do you own DD. Let me put it this way I quickly learned that if i followed their recommendations as per their ratings id be barely moving the needle north and MUCH better off 100% invested in mutual funds or just an index tracker like spy or voo. This same can be said for most of the unwashed masses who call themselves investors. If you are a savvy investor dont pay attention to that crap |

I don't put much faith in their rating system, they seem to rely on ratings from other sources heavily and if those other sources, like Morningstar for example, haven't issued a rating the default is an "F". |

Yeah the ratings are BS and so are the recommended stocks that are moving. Theres stocks banging 100% climb and they put up some bullshit with a flat line.

Look for ticker DNUT if you're into that sort of thing View Quote I'm interested. The Dunkin Donuts IPO opened around $25 and was later acquired by Inspire brands for $11.3B at about $106/sh. KK was looking at $21-24/sh, bringing total valuation to $4B with total revenue in 2020 @ $1.1B. I'm just not sure that KK has the exposure and market share to support that price, especially after posting a loss and I am sure they are seeing labor shortages like everyone else. They posted a net loss of $60m last year, even with a 17% revenue increase. If I buy some, I will probably sell it off shortly and buy back in a few days on the dip. I have a feeling it will settle after the initial fever buying. $17 seems more realistic, though. |

More mvis for me. Under $17 early is hard for me to pass up.

Donuts sales are up in general, and I really like their blueberry cake. |
