Got the lady trading today, see bought DNUT at $16.30 and has a stop loss for 15% gains. Let's see how tomorrow goes hope she can make a quick 20% at worst.
Feet wet with gains is a good thing right? Or maybe just adictive. |

Almost stepped on my crank with options. I thought I sold a $15 MVIS put for tomorrow expiration, but accidently sold a call instead. Thankfully I caught it, and bought to close for a big fat $20 profit.

Damn, missed all the fun. Went in for an MRI this morning for a bulged disc, and the doc gave me a heavy pain killer and two valiums to help me lay motionless on the table for 20 minutes. Tech was supposed to put head sets on me, and forgot. Hard to believe how unbelievably loud that damn thing is once you're sucked into the bowels. Came home and crashed for almost six hours.
Wife read somewhere we have a job opening...in Taiwan??!!!! Guess the line really is standing up. |

BLUF: as per usual, he couldn't tell me anything that wasn't already known to the larger investing community. Not his choice, that's the law. We talked in generalities about the amount of updates generated by our competitors as a measure of what Microvision is releasing, and he said a good bit of what they're releasing is fluff, and many of the "relationships" they're touting may quickly dissolve as a clear winner emerges. He also told me Sumit is working very hard, and they are well down the road to ensuring the statements he's made publicly become reality...and that they have the team, the resources and the product to make that happen. What I didn't get any assurance at all we'd get updates on either money or product prior the EC, but I'm pretty sure that would have been out-of-bounds. I wouldn't read too much into any of this...but I got a strong impression of understated confidence. Pretty much an "understand your concerns, know we're on course and tracking" kind of vibe. ETA: I was also told the new website went live "just minutes ago". I know it's not a huge thing, but investors have been bitching and moaning about the old one for years...so I guess that counts as progress on at least one front. View Quote Saw this on F___Book... Look toward the bottom left of Microvision's home page... the 'Range' button/icon/pic, when blown up, look awfully like a Tesla! Probably coincidental. |

I wonder if the Hololens/IVAS verticals are currently being negotiated/sold and Microvision sees itself focusing on the vertical they haven't sold yet/won't be selling, lidar. Just a thought. |

View Quote Regardless of what we all know to be true about the Hololens, I'm assuming nothing has changed as far as NDA's for that contract. Now, hopefully there's a completely different contract written for the IVAS production, and one that allows MVIS to promote it's involvement. |

Published: Sep 14,2017 From 2017 TAIPEI, Taiwan - MicroVision and WPG Holdings today announced that they have entered into an agreement for distribution of MicroVision’s line of PicoP scanning engines across Asia. MicroVision and STM to Co-Market MEMS Mirror-based Laser Beam Scanning Solutions MicroVision and STMicroelectronics today announced that they plan to work together to develop, sell, and market Laser Beam Scanning (LBS) technology... WPG to Release 58 Solutions in Q3 TAIPEI, Taiwan — WPG held investor conference yesterday, EPS is 0.91 in the second quarter, better than 0.84 in the first quarter... WPG will distribute MicroVision’s engine products in China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, India and Southeast Asia through its subsidiaries AIT Group, WPG Korea and South Asia. MicroVision has announced its plans to have three different PicoP scanning engines in the market in 2017 and 2018: the first engine is available now for applications that benefit from a small form factor display engine. The second engine, for which development kits began sampling this quarter, combines projected display with an interactive user interface that mimics the familiar touch screen of a smartphone or tablet; the third engine is a 3D sensing solution for mid-range LiDAR, and samples are expected to be available in the first half of 2018. |
