I don't know what's likely to happen, there are too many ways this situation could go. For those who wonder if this is worse than the 60's the answer is yes. The hatred for our fellow man between races and the pent up anger of minorities for their perceived mistreatment and lack of opportunities are a different situation. White folks are the enemy to many, and when that happens white people are more likely to see non-whites the same way. That dynamic wasn't as widespread or intense in the 60's.

The media is running a massive demoralization campaign.  Every bit of bad news is amplified a hundred fold, any bit of good news is suppressed.  To get any type of information that does not come with a panic porn narrative you have to get away from mass media.  I can't even watch the local new channels at this point.  Aside from the weather it is 40 minutes of pimping DOOOOM.

I believe a lot of what happens next will depend on how most people react to the constant bombardment of negatively.  Are they going to remain hysterical for the next few months leading up to the election?  Are they going to burn out and give in to whatever the narrative is?  Maybe they just get bored with it all and go back to life?  Who knows.

I can only control my own actions and reactions to what is going on.  I am preparing my family as best I can to make sure if things get more weird that we have at least a bit of comfort and are not picking through trash for supper for at least a day or two.  Beyond that I am making an effort to rest, recover, and find some enjoyment.  I may even grab a little vacation if we can get to a somewhat calm patch.

We have the judges, that is a fact. The indictments are filed that is a fact. Maxwell is under arrest and is known as a procurer of children for the elite, photographs are all over the internet, complaints filed, open records, names named.

The left will keep pushing until the election. Increased violence in the form of riots or incidents of un-provoked assault trying to get a counter movement on the right moving.

Those with the means will continue vacating the cities straining the revenue/expense disparity for major metro areas.

I don't think it will slide as far as the Left thinks it will.

Right now there are a lot of media types who have platforms and soapboxes and they are the loudest voices.

But there also seems to be a lot of people on their side starting to speak out and attempting to put the brakes on the stupidity.

There are some very extreme views that the media platforms are letting have their moment, until it goes into crazy town and then everyone shuts it down.

I don't think there will be any real large scale violence that is organized, right now we are seeing sporadic anarchy and looting but nothing really organized.

Most of the real revolutions had good solid numbers of very organized and very determined revolutionaries.

IMHO, most of the people doing this aren't that passionate, they are mostly fair weather opportunists.

As someone born in the late 50s, I can assure you the 60s protests were never this bad. What separates those days from now is the level to which the Democrat party has sunk. When there were serious protests in Chicago during the convention, Democrat mayor Richard Daley sicced the Chicago police on them and heads were cracked. Democrats were law and order types too. Not any more. Now they stand down and let the mobs run rampant, and if there is any backlash against the mob, they step in with the police to protect them.

We are heading into uncharted waters, and from what I see, it is going to get worse with the blessings of the Democrat party before the election.

I have lots of black friends but there have been plenty of cold shoulders and noses held at high angles over the last month. I live in an area where the demographics are around 40 percent black.  To say things have been pins and needles around here is an understatement.

TSM revealed its initial 3nm (N3) process specs for 2023. They are underwhelming.

N3 has 1.7x higher density on a 2.5 year cadence. Since Intel 7nm has 2.0-2.4x higher density on a 2-year cadence, Intel is catching up.

N3 may not be meaningfully denser than Intel's 7nm (late 2021), which launches over a year earlier. TSM's N3 looks more like Intel's 7nm than 5nm.

TSM maintains FinFET, which means no GAA until 2024 or 2025, which Samsung will ship in 2022, Intel in late 2023.

Altogether, it looks like TSM's inherited process leadership will be reduced to parity at best within two years.

If you study American history and politics from the 1840s and 1850s, you'll see exactly where we're going.

The only difference is that few people these days will strap on a cavalry sword or grab a musket to defend their home state for The Glorious Cause.

Most people will quietly submit to a Communist takeover. Those who don't will forfeit their fortunes and be imprisoned. Or simply be killed.

Beyond college football rivalries there isn't much allegiance to states like there was prior to the War Of Northern Aggression.

Hopefully, folks will at least take up arms to defend their communities and their homes.

Referencing the communist written and endorsed plan to bring the United States to a socialist (communist) society, the ultimate goal is to gain the White House thru violent or non-violent means up to and including overthrow of the government (the violent option). I predict increased violence and empowerment of the blacks thru a radical left media propaganda campaign (duh). I think they will ratchet this up as we get closer to the election in order to have that violent (overthrow) option available should it become necessary. As was stated before the election results are going to be a hot potato no matter who wins. This is where it gets sticky in my mind at least. Should the left decide on a political coup how many in the military, DOJ, CIA, FBI, Secret Service are going to go along with that? As we've seen in other countries, the disputed winner always has the loyalty of the military to remain in office (Venezuela).

Fair enough. And I appreciate you talking about your real world experience. But it looks to me like our own government is going to be the source of the communism (by some other name). The violence on the street by antifa is just the face/window dressing.

The commies want all the power, the BLM want 14 Trillion and no law and order. The rest of us want the Constitution followed. Two of the three are going to loose. You pick the winner.

That is 100% the fault of people who want republican ideals but are not willing to put forth any of their own effort to save the country for their friends, family, or children. We literally could flip this whole situation in a week if we were willing. Moderates and conservatives protesting at city hall by the thousands would change everything immediately.
