Most of my time and extra money goes to studying, reading, training and equipment for boogaloos.

Some folks consider that nerdy versus having a jet ski or a bunch of sports memorabilia.

Aside from that I like migration period warfare and have a spear.

N scale model railroading and building armor/plane models.  Resurrected these childhood hobbies after a 40 year hiatus and thoroughly enjoying it.

Same as this guy but with HO scale model railroading.  I probably have 75 hardback books and likely an equal number of softcover books on US railroads; that's conservatively $4K in railroad books alone.  My collection of HO trains are likely triple that now.  But, it's a hobby that I enjoy and one in which I share with my son.

In the last year, I got back into building armor models after stepping away for nearly 10 years.  I don't have quite as many books on military history; I got rid of a lot of them when I decided to stop building.  I still have a decent collection of unbuilt kits to build and paint.  But, the days are gone when I worried about every little rivet and weld line.

So...much...this...It's like a disease.

Honestly, I got a bit out of hand (just like guns).  I do run a BrickLink store so offset costs a bit the past few years.  Recently been selling off some sets I picked up for myself and backlogged...for 3-4x my money on a 1-2 yr return...Sets I bought for $100 going for nearly $400...I can't justify hanging on to plastic for that price...It's seriously peak Lego market right now courtesy of COVID and stimulus money.  Lightening my collection has felt good.  Think I'm going to start doing it with my guns....

Mine would probably be model cars. I do it off and on. The Mercedes Clk-gtr I am currently doing has been a work in progress for like 4 years now. But then sometimes I'll complete one in a week or two. I actually worked on it a couple weeks ago. I should really finish it soon. https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/231690/1F8A898E-7E03-40AC-9F23-B3421B3C07BF_jpe-1437528.JPG

Don't know about "nerdy" (I don't consider myself a nerd, by any means) but licensed since 1964 and still enjoy the hobby and learning experience to this day. It's also helped land me a couple electronic/electrical-related jobs over the years.

I can't afford to race real cars so I race video game cars.  So much so that I bought a tv and a second PS4 so I can leave my wheel and pedals set up.  I'm in 2 weekly leagues, Tuesday nights and Thursday nights.  Public lobbies are generally shit shows but (most) everyone in the organized leagues tries to race clean.  One of the leagues streams the races and has people who do commentary.

Whatever, it's fun.
