I somehow Hurt myself taking my jacket off as I got into work
|

Drop something REALLY heavy on your foot.
It'll take your mind off your initial booboo. |
|
Lol. Sorry! Wait until you get older and despite years of practice, you frequently “sleep wrong”!
|
|
It never stops and only gets worse
The way i look at it is to just say “atleast its just this and not something worse.” |

Apparently if you "sleep wrong" it severs your spinal cord.
Which, theoretically, should end most pain. Have you tried that? |
|
Walk face-first into a hood-mounted mirror bracket, like I did a few minutes ago.
|
|
A Midol, a Viagra, and a shot of Mad Dog 20 20 will make it go away

Pull your nose hairs out with needle nose pliers. It will distract from the pain for a few seconds.
And try kratom. |
|
|
It doesn't. Eventually, it becomes an annoying whisper in your ear reminding you that you are still alive.

yoga before it is too late! Chiropractor busts loose the little problems but you have to improve you flexibility and balance your muscle use. From a childhood injury I have been dealing with this stuff my whole adult life. Constant maintenance, like on a junk KIA. :)

the biggest thing that helped me when i worked on boats was lifting free weights.

How much vodka do you drink at work? Because it sounds like your vodka level is too low.

It actually might be helpful if you tell us what you hurt. Shoulder I'm guessing.

Dude... use more lube. Or find better porn.
Oh... you said you hurt your self JACKETING off. My bad. |
|
|
|
Honestly, the best thing IS lifting free weights.
But not just in short linear motions, A.K.A. gym workout. Get a weekend job landscaping: digging holes for 3 foot tree root balls ect, not planting flowers. Get a part time job unloading tractor trailers for UPS: lots of arm, leg, and back exercises. Get paid doing a job you have to show up to, or pay big to join a cross-fit gym you wont go to. |

As you age pain is the thing that reminds you that you are still alive.
Get comfortable with it. Pain isn’t going anywhere. |

Yep Since you’re a mechanic I’m assuming you work with your hands above your head a lot and work with heavily torqued bolts. You probably have impinge lament of some kind. Find an open doorway and stretch your arm out and grab the frame, keeping your hand stationary pivot your body. Find a corner do a standing push-up and try to put your nose in the corner....SLOWLY |

just dont require opiods, because they will say fuck you ! suffer you addict !
my 85 year old father in law was just diagnosed with cancer a week ago, with large masses on both lungs, his spine, and thigh. ( this is just the basic exam, they are doing a better scan of his entire body in a few days, so possibly more ) having really bad pain in his legs. he went to the doctor because he was having bad leg pain and suffering. they found cancer all thru him. it took all kinds of raising hell, three additional days of fighting with them, involving multiple doctors to get anyone to prescribe him anything for the pain. after 3 days and tons of calls and multiple doctor visits and doctors trying to pass the buck to other doctors back and forth, we FINALLY got one to write a script for 20 tablets of 5mg hydrocodone. ( which is barely doing anything, and he made it clear he wont write any more scripts for refills and were still fighting to get something stronger that actually eases his pain, not to mention more of it to last more than a few days ) they kept suggesting taking aspirin and hot baths. for fucking what is probably terminal cancer. |

If youre hurting yourself taking your jacket off in your 20’s you should start looking for a different job. Being a mechanic is gonna suck

My shoulders stop hurting when I stop moving them. Right side is worse than left, and raising my hands over my head is worse than keeping them at shoulder height or lower. The clunking and scraping sound they make takes my mind off the pain. And winter is worse than summer. When will it stop for good? When I'm on the shady side of the lawn. Until then, I get up, get my shit done and just try to ignore it as best as I can.

If I ever wake up and something doesn't hurt somewhere on my body, I'll just assume I'm dead.

You hurt yourself today?
Was it to see if you could still feel? |
