Would have had more impact, if you hadn't been told it was a zombie show, wouldn't it?

Just another slice of life show, with the main characters in a school club that's a little unique, then...

I've only read the manga but yes. The story actually gets kinda dark too in later chapters.

I wouldn’t have watched it though.  I stopped watching with about 4 episodes left.  I just found myself not caring about any of the characters.  I read the episode summaries on Wikipedia and can’t say I regret throwing the towel in.

Make that 'racing jets skis', and I think you have pretty much covered it.

ETA: ...and guns that fire 'water bullets' that function similar to paintball, but cause clothing to pop off or engines to throttle down, as a way to show damage.

I finished up Black Lagoon last night, started drinking, and ordered two replica WE M9 Sword Cutlasses which I have no use for because I don't play airsoft.

Next up is Chobits - it should be good brain bleach for the shit that I just watched.

I saw the first episode (I think) 16 years ago, but never got around to finishing it... when I was 16. Getting old is weird.

This year's Black Friday / Cyber Monday anime sales were kind of lame.
The only things I bought were Chobits, Land of the Lustrous, Godannar(On bluray), and Lord Marksman and Vanadis.
Way way less from last year's sales

You don't need to play airsoft. You can put them on the wall and play with them when you're bored. Pellet traps are cheap.

Chobits was an excellent, if slightly weird anime that has a happy ending (for sufficient values of). Good choice.

Yeah, I'm on the second season of High Score Girl.
No idea why they even have a voice actor for the one girl, she's never said a word the entire series. Must be an easy gig.

The newer series I was a big fan of. As Golgo never shows emotion and is like an enigmatic Terminator. Also he does a lot of crazy assassin stuff that has you going wait wut. Like shooting water in just the right angle to hit a guy in the head.

Spend your free time “suffering through” something? Why not just watch something else?

I never thought SAO was very good, but it started off watchable.  After the gun game arc it dropped off in a hurry.  I threw in the towel somewhere around the AIDS kids or whatever the hell that was.

Just started watching Hikaru no Go. Sub and dub are on Hulu. It's an old-ish one, and revolves around a game I barely know the rules to, but at least has my attention through the first few episodes.

That's what the recap episode is for

I will say the core concept of this alicaztion arc is pretty good. They've just made tons of horrible decisions on the direction.

Almost to D&D and jar jar Abrams levels.

There's constantly epic scenes and fights presented with no build up or reference. Until it's actually happening. It feels like they've compressed a whole series of light novels into a season of anime.

Do give a chance though you won't be as disappointed.

I was told, rather directly across a coffee table, that your idea about the chemical separation theory would provide "a very good and clinical definition" to a rather complex setting. I apologize for the length of time it has taken for this reply.

From what little I know, I would believe Magia Record should be right up your alley. It airs next season.

In short. Thank you I really do appreciate it.

The process was followed to its conclusion, the lizards eyes opened and an explanation was even discovered for the screwball collection of guns that Homura pulled on Mami.

I mean, how often does one encounter one of these thingies?

Both, the show begins to focus on a lot of character development and they all mature a lot, especially Deku. He still cries like a bitch, just not as much
