Honestly I just don’t remember much about them Gamma is cool but I never got to interested in watching her during the whole fake adventures thing she did with Ainz she just wasn’t particularly entertaining I like Solution a good bit more she actually had a personality even if it was sadistic and the scenes I remember were cool like how she pulled some dude into her chest Entoma is a cool concept and I really really like her design you still know it’s a horrible bug but still a cute character somehow lol I don’t have to explain why Lupus is best made, hottest character amd only slightly behind Shallteer for all around best girl |

I’ve noticed my ‘currently watching’ list on Funimation has been shrinking - there are just a few series that I’m watching that are still coming out with new episodes, but as the post above mentioned, I’m thinking that it’s getting very close to cancellation time.

Mushoku ep24 just dropped on Funi. It is an extra focused on Eris. Eris is a badass in battle, too bad about her personality. But at least Rudy has put a lot of work into groo... I mean improving her education.
Funi and Crunchy merged. I was expecting them to keep their content split so they could rake in more money but it seems they decided to migrate everything over to Crunchy instead. This is mostly fine with me because Funi's App and network both suck. Even with their occasional lag issues Crunchy's infrastructure is much better than Funi. Crunchy needs to build some more network/server caching sites closer to the customer's however. |

It kind of seems like a mess but everything has happened in the way that they said it would in their announcement so far. It's not growing pains as much as it was their plan even if it only makes sense to them. When they announced the merger they also announced that all series that were airing new episodes only on Funimation won't have those new episodes moved over until the new season is over (even if they had previous seasons already on Crunchyroll). Arifureta is one of those shows. It will be moved but not for a while. There are also several new series that were Funimation only that are in the middle of the season and they haven't been moved yet either. How the Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom is one example of a new series that hasn't been moved. Or at leas it wasn't the last time I checked. They also said they hadn't moved many older shows yet but they were moving more every day. They stated that watchlists, episode/series previously watched indicators, purchased content, and gift cards weren't transferred yet but they are working on it. |

Both the action and shoujo bait pick up the pace from here on out. Season 2 could be AOTY 2023 if they decide it takes the time it takes and go full send. |

I watched Kemono Michi over the last two days.
I found it cute with a silly premise, but I did get several chuckles from it. It was worth a watch. I'm two episodes in to Overlord, since you guys have been referencing it. Interesting premise, and fairly good animation. I think I will like it. I will finish it after watching the second season of 86. |

I've been rewatching Golden Kamuy to pass the time. Picking up on details I either missed or forgot.

There’s no middle ground, though. Unique storyline and characters? Good checkmark. Some really grotesque characters and ewww, gross acts by ‘bad actors’? Bad checkmark. Lots of subtle humor? (ex: is he eating miso or shit?) Good checkmark. Stretches plausibility beyond breaking point? Bad checkmark. Offers a glimpse of less-well-known cultures, eras, and geography? Good checkmark. Gratuitous violence and gore? Not sure how to score that. Overflowing with “let’s all hate Russia” material? Good checkmark. (“That’s a joke, son”) And so on. Full disclosure: Golden Kamuy was an important influence on my decision to visit Hokkaido in 2018, and especially on my decision to spend three days in Otaru. Had some great seafood while I was there, and even spent a couple hours visiting the “Herring Mansion”. |
