While I generally don't care for the isekai genre since I find them boring, I went ahead and watched Mushoku Tensei because I kept seeing it mentioned by some YT reviewers. Everything from the character development through the season, the good mix of comedy and darker themes plus the music just checked all of the boxes for me on what makes a good show. I definitely can't wait for season 2.
I may end up doing the same thing I did with Eighty-six and just buy the source novels. |

You're absolutely right about the character development, including some of the background characters. Finding out Eris' father and grandfather were both catgirl-loving degenerates is still hilarious to me, especially when Eris tells Rudeus what her mother taught her to say to a man...  Failed To Load Title Rudeus is hilarious, too! His creepy sneer and "hnnnng" every time he's about to perv out always made me laugh!    It was an almost perfect blend of a serious storyline, characters with actual personality, and just the right amount of humor to keep it entertaining. Definitely one of my all time favorites! |

Anyone watch this? I started watching with my daughter and it seemed to be going well but I'm always sleepy and fell asleep. She has since continued on and watched several more episodes. Should I start over and try to catch up on my own time?

I didn't even want to watch it. The animation looked shitty and the premise seemed stupid. But someone I trust recommended it so I gave it a try. By the end of E1 I was intrigued and by the end of E3 I was hooked. So to answer your question: yes, I think you should catch up on your own time so you can watch it with your daughter. In the meantime, you might want to ask her to hold off on watching more episodes because she might have it finished before you even get started.

So glad I did, started the first one and it’s awesome to take in all the details with bigger pictures Yeah that’s what was happening the little studs that the shelves sit on only stick out less then a 1/2” so it doesn’t take much warpage to drop out, I’ll check those out yeah it’s better to not have them fall down and get bent all up Not sure what I’m guna do for new shelves I’d like to move all the childrens books and other crap somewhere else and shelve this whole space … even get some figures when everything is nice and organized  Attached FileWow that’s awesome!
