I have never seen an anime that I have more thoroughly enjoyed through the first four episodes than Spy x Family.
The anime itself is great, but I’m also enjoying the nostalgia kick I’m getting by, for the first time since I was a child, having a Saturday morning “cartoon” to look forward to.  Attached File |

I've been enjoying Paripi Koumei. A famous military advisor from ancient Chinese history is reincarnated into modern Shibuya and proceeds to become a producer to an emerging Idol.
Seems like something I haven't seen a million times before anyway. OP is a banger too, that doesn't hurt. 5+ years of lurking in this thread and I finally beat y'all to a recommendation. Fun times. |

Well, it has been mentioned here a few times, under the name Ya Boy Kongming! As they say, “chacun a son gout” (pardon my French - and apologies for omitting the proper diacritical marks, but I’m on my phone) - I’ve been watching it, and I suppose that I could give it some high marks for originality and for the “I didn’t see that coming” aspects, but IMHO a lot of the humor feels forced, and I don’t give a shit about the Three Kingdoms period or about China at all for that matter, and so it’s not really my cup of tea. But while lurking in this thread is OK, glad to also have you posting. |
