Finally got around to watching Higurashi Gou
Certainly not my style but I'm going to finish it. Of course the scene of poor rika getting raked my six year old is standing right next to me That definitely went on bit longer than it needed to. I do kind of wish they had consolidated volumes that were easy to find and buy. I think I will look those up. |

I have never seen an anime that I have more thoroughly enjoyed through the first four episodes than Spy x Family.
The anime itself is great, but I’m also enjoying the nostalgia kick I’m getting by, for the first time since I was a child, having a Saturday morning “cartoon” to look forward to. Attached File |

It had a good first episode with an interesting premise, but unfortunately it was all downhill from there. It’s not even watchable anymore. On the flip side, The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody went from “I’ll give it one more episode before I quit” to “this is watchable for a trash isekai/reincarnation ecchi harem with an OP MC” so I guess it evens out. |

View Quote Well, it has been mentioned here a few times, under the name Ya Boy Kongming! As they say, “chacun a son gout” (pardon my French - and apologies for omitting the proper diacritical marks, but I’m on my phone) - I’ve been watching it, and I suppose that I could give it some high marks for originality and for the “I didn’t see that coming” aspects, but IMHO a lot of the humor feels forced, and I don’t give a shit about the Three Kingdoms period or about China at all for that matter, and so it’s not really my cup of tea. But while lurking in this thread is OK, glad to also have you posting. |
