I guess that there was an island involved somehow.

But I’m still not feeling any ‘curiosity’ or ‘interest’, rather I’m too distracted by the WTF-ness of it all.

They were good, next to Zeta, I really liked Operation Anchorage.
It's a throwback via a memory station that takes you back to the fight for Anchorage against the Chinese before the nukes go off.
Lots of great loot from this one including a high level set of armor that doesn't require maintenance.

Broken Steel is OK, the nice thing about it is it lets you continue playing the game after the normal ending.
Lots more quest against the Enclave.

Point Lookout was also very good but a little shorter than the other DLCs, if you liked Far Harbor from 4 , you'll like this one.

The Pitt was my least favorite, it's rather involved with search and collect type quest, but does end up with some decent shoot 'em up, the gathering part was repetitions and a grind for me.

Favorite DLC for Fallout: New Vegas and favorite DLC for Fallout 4?
Basically a 1 for 1 copy of FONV in the Fallout 4 engine, with all of the possibilities that implies.

That point is explained in episode 2, but episode 1 leaves the impression that it's the way targetworks explained it.

For New Vegas my favorite was Old World Blues.

That was one of my favorites too.

In the past 5-10 years I have REALLY, REALLY dialed back how much time I spend gaming and I blame a lot of it on game series like Fallout and Elder Scrolls.  I love those top tier M-rated sandbox RPG games that are so loaded with content you can spend 200 hours on it and still not do everything.  After experiencing those games I just couldn’t get excited for anything less.

If it’s half as good as they proclaim, I’ll probably be MIA here for quite a while.

oof ya just looked up the announcement trailer.  Game looks awesome then Todd comes on and it's all...

But to be fair I've only really played new vegas (and partially at that).

I don't really have the time for games that require that amount of continuous investment anymore.

Part of the reason why Warframe has been my main game for a while is that I can play it so casually for less than an hour per session often.

I’d be OK with getting reincarnated in Skyrim.

Regardless of whether or not you’re enjoying KONOSUBA - An Explosion on This Wonderful World,  there’s one thing that everyone can agree on:

The orchestral background music accompanying every episode is annoying as hell.

A futuristic space setting doesn’t really interest me for a sandbox RPG.

Give me a fantasy setting or a post-apocalyptic Mad Max-type setting.

That's basically what Dying light, outriders, and the Division are.

We went to Suzume tonight (me and my two daughters).  It's amazing.  The animation is beautiful (like all of Shinkai's works).  It's faster-paced than most of Shinkai's other works.  It's also one of his saddest and most heartfelt works.  It has some undertones about Japan's declining population, and the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami plays into it quite a bit.  My poor 12-year old daughter cried her eyes out at the end.

KamiKatsu - pretty crappy CG animation, but interesting story. "Working for God in a Godless World" is a fairly interesting concept for trash isekai

No magic, no OP MC, no cheat level skills. All in a world where even the other characters can't explain why or how the world works the way it does. It just is.

I feel it might be a hidden gem this season, even if only for its silliness

thank you!

In an effort not to watch nearly every show this season.  I have just been holding off for shows that get the most buzz and discussion.

KamiKatsu is pretty high in the running along with, the idol show, and magic and muscles.

I think I'll wait for at least half of the season to be over though.

11/12 episodes watched. Overall, it's not too bad. Too slow for my taste, only one funny scene, etc... but after I'm finished with the last episode, I won't watch it again. Though I did learn a bit on what cosplayers have to go through with costumes and makeup.

And my off the wall pick of the night goes to…

“Aiyou de Mishi” (Aiyou’s Secret Room) is a thriller anime from China.
I’m only two episodes in, but this one is certainly holding my attention.
This one has a real creepy factor going, it starts out as two friends that visit a unique escape room theater that in and of its self is a thriller with a few edge of seat moments.
The real story progresses as the MC returns home only to find that the strange occurrences from their adventure has followed him home.

It’s a short show with each episode only 15 or so minutes long, but it really doesn’t seem to distract from the story.
If you’re into thriller/spooky dramas, you might like it.

After one episode of the hero is dead, I'm not feeling it. MC is an asshole (and not in a fun way), most of the supporting characters are unpleasant, and it's got one of the worst features of Dr Stone and a few other otherwise good anime where they show emotion using uglified stills.

Not sure but I may have made it all the way through ep. 1 before removing it from my watchlist.

It was just awful. It stunk even more than the MC’s rotting flesh.

I'll probably give it one more episode to see if they can salvage anything. But I'm leaning in the direction of bailing.

I am really impressed with Tonikawa this season.

The last two episodes have covered little mini arcs that I found unremarkable when I read through them in the manga. In both cases, they made me laugh and feel feels, and I will probably never forget either of them. This is a case of the anime format elevating the source material.

Started Infinite Stratos. I like it so far. Lots of VAs that I enjoy.

Watched Oshi No Ko. I hate idol anime, but after seeing all the buzz about it I gave it a try. Was not prepared for ep1 ending….that was very sad/heartbreaking.

I thoroughly enjoyed Skelaton Knight.

For some reason, I kept expecting the MC to use a steal spell to take some chicks panties though.

Been reading some LNs since I'm only watching a few of the new anime this season. I'm really enjoying Full Clearing Another World Under a Goddess With Zero Followers: The Weakest Mage in Class.

Spoilers for the first couple of chapters of the first book.
