Lol. I follow fashion trends, and am probably more politically extreme/rigidly idealistic than most of you.
Dressing well is a signifier of social competence. Sadly, the left seems to be more socially competent than the right, hence why they control the media. They can make ideas that are horrifying in reality seem innocuous and progressive. A well-dressed person = a competent person in most people's minds. When the average boob sees someone in pleated khaki's and a baggy light blue button-down, they have no interest in what they have to say. Is that impulse rationally grounded? I wear flannel, BCG style specs, and have a beard. Flannel's warm. BCG's have plenty of eye coverage for when I'm working or shooting. I look terrible when I shave.
I suppose at a glance I'd probably look like some Antifa faggot. And I've gotten that side eye before, but that usually goes away when I start talking.
