Femur + tibia and it looks like human...

Femur. Pic does not provide good reference on overall length. I suspect something larger than human.

If it were bleached white, it would look like part of a human skeleton I walked up on in the Moab.

Looks similar to the front leg bone of a deer.

OP has had too many White Claws and think drift wood is a bone

My guess is a cow femur.

I heard a rumour from a DNR pilot, that the Hodag was increasing it's range. They have been careful about retrieving their dead brothers...

However, they may have been careless this one time

Hard to tell without knowing the length. Deer, cow, or horse most likely. Could be from a human, but that's least likely since the other possibilities die more often out in the wild.

Respectfully disagree—if looks distinctly non-human, since it looks like someone crossed a femur with a tibia—the “top” has an articulating plate, like a tibia, then there’s a “surgical neck” with no articulating ball sticking behind it &  in the sand.

Not a human bone.  Not a bone surgeon, just a regular surgeon.

It is a Radius and Ulna. They are fused in most large animals

Clearly from Samsquatch . There are no laws when you are drinking the claws.

As an aspiring  carcass reconstruction artist intern, it is obviously either:

1) A fish bone - see all that water in the background

Or

2) A bird bone - see them feathers, hawk musta got it.

:)

Looks old. if you brought it home you should get someone to look at it. Might be from an extinct species.

Obviously a seagull. It left in a hurry and dropped some feathers. You scared the bones right out of it!

That's why is said "similar" and not "exactly."  Could be from a larger species like a moose or elk.  It does look to me to be similar to the deer that I've butchered over the years.   I might even still have a front shoulder roast in the freezer that I could compare to.

Is that how they roll there?
