My rendition of "Bark" stippling. Basically drag and form lines. Repeat process. For a more aggressive texture move the soldering iron slower so it penetrates deeper. I did this to my G17 and it can out good. Good grip without overly painful and ugly with all dots.

ETA: New carry pistol ? Thanks very much. I wanted to see if the CZ could be retrofit with more sight options and expand the choices with a bit of a twist. Hence the rear ledge sight and the gold bead front. Karl is local so I have the chance to talk with him quite a bit and this is what we came up with over time. He was excited to give it a shot and he nailed it. I will carry it but it's more of a BBQ style pistol. ETA: pic thread

My CZ family tree:
SP-01 CZ 75B compact that is what I carry most days. Pre B CZ 75 that I just picked up from AIM as one of their X-Grade Israeli Police trade ins. It came with a SAO trigger. I am wondering if this was factory though. Gun was made in 1989. 
Also, since this is a CZ pic thread, allow me to show off the CZ themed grooms cake my beautiful wife got me for our wedding a few weeks ago. It is a crappy picture that doesn't nearly capture the detail in the model of my gun. For example they actually put rifling on the barrel and serrations on the hammer.

Finally, I braved enough to take my CZ-82s apart to clean every parts and applied the cold blue. I have read many threads that people having the hard time to put it together. I felt very happy that I could put it together in less than an hour by following the instructions from the internet. I painted one of my slide with the Appliance Epoxy paint (stainless color).
