Specs so far:
- CGW SRS-1 kit
- CGW floating trigger pin
- CGW reduced power trigger return spring
- CGW 85C "Old Style" trigger (left the set screws out - don't want to mess with 'em)
- Meprolight night sights
- Polished guts

Just installed the trigger and touched up some polishing I did previously.  While tearing everything down, I accidentally slipped the sear cage slave pin through a little too far.  I just said fuggit and went all the way.  Spent quite some time exploring and familiarizing myself with the sear cage.

Installed the Meprolight night sights the other day.  Front went fine.  Ordered some #47 drill bits off of Amazon and had that done in no time.  No other fitting needed.  Rear sight went in super easy.  Too easy.  It started out with a little bit of resistance, but once I got it in all the way, I could move it back and forth in the dovetail by hand.  Took it back out and did some peening to the bottom of the sight with a spring punch and slathered on some red Locktite.  Seems like that did the job.  If I have any issues with it, I'll stake the sight (may just do that anyway) or go ahead and drill/tap it for a set screw.

Am I allowed to ask for details on this?  Just wondering because everything I've seen says that you can't put a dot on a P-07 and keep the rear sight...

Work done by Mark Housel at L&M Precision. Custom sight cuts for Sig night sights. CZ Custom is also doing work similar work. Their work I've seen has the rear sight in front of optic with custom height sights.

I'm not easily impressed by most gun collections, but that sir is one of the most impressive line ups I've ever seen, 5 mint condition half rails( i can't tell if that last one is a half rail due to lighting)  in the same room is like watching an asteroid shoot in to an active volcano the moment it blows.

Thank you Sir!

They are all 6 short rails.  I'm trying to get one from each production year, but 1976 is proving difficult.

They are mostly like new, but one is a shooter.

I will try and get some better pics up.

They really are. I'm half embarrassed to admit that I knew next to nothing about them until last year when my mother in law was looking for her first pistol to carry. And I've been into defensive carry firearms for 20+ years. You know the usual suspects, Glocks, M&P's, 1911's, Hi-Powers, .Colt .38snubs, etc, etc. My MIL expressed an interest after an uncomfortable encounter and started hitting the range with us semi-regularly. Out of 10+ pistols we rented that day for her to try she chose the P-01 as her favorite of the bunch. The shop didn't have a P-01 so she got the next best thing, a 75 B-SA... Now I'm looking to add a 97B to my carry rotation.

Is the grip tape over the checkering, or did you have that removed?  Nice collection btw.

Thank you, Honestly, I've never checked. Picked it up used in 02 from a gunshop.  Story was that it was a demo that the factory sent around to magazines for review before refurbing it and selling it to the shop.  Serial is around 5##.   Grips are Hakan Pek Cocobolo extremes.
