NCIS delayed authorized use of the 320 for a while due to this type of failure. No idea if they ever announced that publicly, though.

ETA: Sorry for the off topic comment.

I think this is a case of "Autocowreck" wreaking its usual havoc on a mobile device. Translated, I think he is asking about the "Crane Clone" scabbards I build.

PM sent regarding ordering.

All's well.

Just scored a legit Mk27 Mod 1 and I already had the correct Trijicon SU-291 on hand! I've never seen another Mk27 with SU-291 in private hands, so this could be the very first set-up like this with the real optic! The pistol also has the correct military UID laser engraving on the underside of the trigger guard. The box has the correct model number and a blue label.

@Combat_Diver, what are the correct higher front and rear sights? Any info would be helpful, thank you!

I'm still looking for a glock Mk27 Mod 2 and I'd be willing to pay quite a bit to get one! I have another SU-291, so I'm halfway there already, lol.

There goes my hopes of seeing that auction re-listed lol. I'm glad to see it found a way into deserving hands at least. Your collection never fails to impress. And it keeps growing!

Thanks! The collection has stopped growing now, it got too large and I'm selling some stuff. I'm focusing on USMC items and random things that I like. I have no idea if the Corps is using the Mk27, but it's something that I like.

Lol, yeah, I made the guy an offer outside of GB. He was a great guy to deal with, but the Mk27 still ended up being quite a bit. I'm willing to pay more if someone has a legit Mod 2 they're willing to part with. Once I'm set with mine, I'll do what I can to help you out! You're one of the only people I know of with the legit SU-291 RMR's!

Also, what is the correct flashlight or what have you seen in the field? I'm going with the SureFire X300U-A for my USMC M45A1, do I use the same one or X300U-B for this pistol?

The contract for the HRS specified the trijicon suppressor heights, which apparently only come in one height. Wether or not that was finalized I I don’t know.

Since I don’t I’ll find one like you did, any chance you can measure the depth of the mos cut?(from top of slide to the top of the plate)

Thank you! That's a much better breakdown than the one I copied from the other site. Are there any unique characteristics to be aware of? The Mk27 Mod 1 and 2 both have a UID on the underside of the triggerguard, do the other pistols also have the UID?

Units put the UID on.  Not mandatory in my experience.  Under the triggerguard is the most logical due to SN under dust cover and doesn't get coverup with a light.  Also when upside down for inspection, scanner can read.

M9 with KAC suppressor and slide lock from late 80s.  5th SFGA used several during GW1.  I had one on me during my SR mission south of Baghdad as the ground war kicked off Feb 91'.  We didn't get any of the subsonic ammo, so ran it with M882 Ball.  We only had three in the Battalion.  Fast forward to 03', same Battalion and going back to Baghdad.  Drew again one of the three.  Possible to have the same pistol 12 yrs apart again in harms way.

I'm the one who posted that info at GlockTalk based on some research I've done. I can say, for example, there are 3 different SKUs for the Mk27 Mod 1 that break down as follows:
  • 1 is US built
  • 1 is Austrian built
  • 1 is Austrian built with a "U" at the end, which is usually reserved for the UID mark on the trigger guard. Doesn't mean the other two don't have it - just that this one SKU does.
The others are similar in country of manufacture, and some with a "U", and some without. There are also some that end in a "6" which denotes a custom serial number range.

Interesting.

I noticed this weekend that both my Gen4 G22 and my new Gen 5 G19 have a nice, smooth square spot on the bottom of the trigger guard.  I kinda think it's for the UID sticker (my G42 and G43 don't have this spot, which makes sense).

Thanks @TNVC_Augee

Waiting on a gen 5 LH threaded barrel to come into stock, but as the mos3 does not seem like it will be commercially available, any chance you can measure the depth of the cut for me? Found a place that will mill to custom depths, and this might be my best chance at a clone style pistol.  Much appreciated!
