Very nice.  I saw that but didn’t want to go thru the hassle of changing it from LEM to DA/SA.

I wanted to see what the fuss about LEM was all about.

You got the best deal for the pair though.

I am going to call HK on Monday and order 2 45C hammers and 45C mag releases.  Then I am going to order 2 straight triggers and SRT’s from Grayguns.  I did that mod on my 2 P90L’s and it made a huge difference.

Welp.

I now have two USPC 9's, and 12 mags.

Today we added a LEM converted USPC 9. Per seller, started out as a V1, sent to HK to have LEM put in and here we are.

I am not sure if it is the standard LEM, the 4.1, or the Light LEM.

If I had to guess, I'd say it is the light LEM or Hybrid, as the takeup is smoooooth with almost no weight then a wall/brake which reminds me of my G17.4 with the (-) connector and about 20,000+ rounds.

Have 124 and 115 grain loads ready for the range, maybe I can sneak out tomorrow.

So far I'm digging the trigger, can see what the fuss is about. Need to get an extended mag release ordered and maybe new sights, we shall see.

I did not know that the 45c is able to be converted like the usp’s. So just the p30’s and p2000’s can’t?

Yup, the 45c is basically USPC .45 internals with a p2000ish frame.

You can convert a da/sa p2000 to LEM. The decocker stays in place.

Not sure of the P30.

Will share more thoughts when back home.

But.

The uspc with lite LEM is a g19 killer for me and I can shoot a g19.

Very very thrilled.

200 rounds of monarch ball and 100 rounds of Winchester nato.

Got the G19 and G45 out today to mess with.

After focusing hard and hitting the range with this lite LEM over the past few days, the Glock trigger felt.... "ewww".

I have a temptation to move my G19.5 (17/45 is my preferred Glock) and pick up a P30 lite LEM, mags would carry over to the USPC's.

ETA:

GG&G rail adapter and TLR-7 ordered for the V1

Vedder light tuck ordered for the LEM.

ETA2: that was fast

This one (lite LEM) might be the finest "compact" pistol I've ever owned, and I've owned most all of the compact range.

Going back to the range tomorrow

From what I’ve read all new V7’s (USPC) come as lite LEM and short reset.

Snuck out to the range this morning with the krauts and 400 rounds. Goal was some side by side accuracy testing between the two.

Another goal of today’s trip is to determine which set of sites I prefer, and will equip moving forward. In the end, I prefer the tighter site picture of the Dawson sites over the Trijicon HD.

Both ran very well no issues to date and while I really like the LEM system I do plan to keep each in its current configuration. I will convert the HK 45C to LEM.

15y, 1 second cadence with the V1

15y, 1 second cadence with the LEM - riding the Uber reset.

I should note as it’s important that the V1 group was shot with 124g (Winchester NATO) and the LEM with 115g (Monarch Bulk). It also took a second to figure out the hold with the Trijicons.

Ordered a duplicate set of Dawsons for the LEM just now on the way home. Gotta call em for the tritium front.

These are fun.

No, I missed out on that one.  I think they had only a few.  I was emailing them to get sales-tax exempt status set up, and they went out of stock in between.  The right side thumb safety was an odd option though.

This was a Gunbroker find.  One mag, left side thumb safety (want to try the LEM kit...) aftermarket night sights, original box, delivered for $530.  Which is about what the AIM deal would have been paying the sales tax.....

One had a make over and added another to the stable

More to come.

ETA:

Snagged a P2000 locally for a song once I decided to move on from a G19 project I’ll never shoot.

Also tossed in the LEM kit into the 45c. Soooo much better. Easy to do as well.

Nice, good to hear!

Goal is to set the V1 up as a quasi USPC-9-CT.

Waiting on RIM to get barrels back in and I'll have it as the house gun / host.

V7 and P2000 (will convert to Lite LEM) will get carry time.

45C is woods gun and will also get threaded barrel for it.

At some point, I'll convert all the mags over to the new follower to get 15+1.

P30 / VP9 follower kits to take 15 to 17 rounds make ours 15 rounders.

P30sk mags with floor plate change does the same as well.

Moar range trip.

USPC V1 is dialed in and build done. 1700-1800 rounds no issues to date. Now house gun.

USPC lite LEM is running like a top. Hate the sights, awaiting dawsons.

P2000 is going to be the one we mess with. Angry bear VP9 OR sights inbound. Needs a threaded barrel and I’ll convert over to LEM.

45c LEM conversion is tits. Awaiting Dawsons.

USPC V7 and the P2k to the range this morning.

200 rounds through the V7 and around 100 through the P2K.

I love it more each time I get it to the range. Just waiting for the Dawson sights to be ready and it will be done.

This thread has me tempted to buy one of these. I haven’t shot HK in 9mm. 40 and 45 are great.
Anyways, there’s an un-fired stainless usp 9 compact, along with and un-fired fde 45c at a local shop near me. I’ve never paid over 1k for 9mm, they want $1049 for the usp. The 45 is right under 8.

I put about 600 rounds of various 9mm fodder I had through a friend's USPc with the external safety lever this weekend and my web between my thumb and forefinger is chewed.

I think the idea is neat but damn it sucks for lots of shooting.  How are you getting around that with yours?  Gloves?  Better and less girly skin than me?

Just for testing purposes. Try a Hogue overmold on the grip. I run them with all my USP's and compacts.

My USPc 40 is my favorite pistol with the match trigger and larger flappy paddles.
