Picked up this pristine pair this weekend at an estate sale of sorts. $600 for both.

My only regret is that the boxes are nowhere to be found, and I suspect they're buried somewhere in the previous owner's home.

My new (to me) 64

I just need a holster for it, any ideas? that aren't $150 custom leather.... although I'd still love a leather but under $50 or so

It looks like the hammer spur was cut off- how does it function? I asked about doing this myself once, and was warned that it could affect performance.

What do you say? Time to bust out the dremel?

4-inch K-frame holsters are a dime a dozen. Hit up eBay, GB or any of the other auction sites.

First S&W revolver for me. It's a 25-13 Mountain Gun. I don't think it's ever been fired.

S&W 625 with Lasergrip

629 Powerport with Aimpoint 9000

Both sold.

They will most likely be replaced with a 4" .44 Magnum in the near future.

Overall very nice picture thread, I've been looking for ideas to steal - erm, I mean, inspiration for my own photos and feel compelled to contribute. Here are a couple on the most recent subject I've been fixated on, my beloved Taurus 669 in .357 magnum with some Federal Hydra-Shok. Not my standard defense load, but it looks pretty in pictures.

It is a S&W 629 44 mag V-Comp with a 3" barrel.  It is a very limited Performance Center gun that was distributed by RSR.  I will be getting it's semi twin brother in soon. The brother is a 627 8 shot 357 on the same N frame as this one, looks exactly like it with the exception of 357 and 8 shots.
