Just picked up this last week and fired it today. It's a really cool piece. I like the two-tone bluing.

That's a nice looking piece. I get no end of shit from people when I admit that I much prefer Ruger revolvers to S&W. Compared to a GP100 or SP101, Smiths just look clunky and unwieldy.

Thanks.  It replaced a 5" 1911 I used to use for the same purpose.  When you have to carry all day and half the night, the 3" SP101 is so much better.  Shoots great, too!

I have a couple of Smiths I use for different jobs, but there is something sexy about the "overbuilt" utilitarian lines of a Ruger.

Nice collection.  The Bisley Vaquero is my favorite.  I'm looking to pick one up in .357mag to go with the SP.

Crappy cellphone pics!!

My first gun purchase. P95 April 2nd, 2010. Damn near 3000 rounds through it and NO problems. (except the very first time I shot it and limp-wristed it causing a jam.) LOL!

Second purchase. SR9c July 20th, 2011. Only about 300 rounds through it and NO problems. This will be my carry gun.

I love mine.  Throw some 8 round Wilson Combat Tactical mags in it and it's like having a custom gun for under $700.  Did I mention it is accurate as F$#*!

hot damn im jealous of the SR1911 owners ...

here is the current setup on my SP ...

SP 101 2.25" barrel chambered in .357.. self done trigger job, wolf springs (8lb trigger return, 12lb hammer currentlly), light polish, very light carry melt on some edges, Badger boot style wood grips (more black/grey than the pics make them look) .. will be carried in a Bianchi Pro IWB holster loaded with buffalo bore 158g .357 FJHPs ... now where the shit is my license ...

would like maybe a more thorough melt and polish job especially on the cylinder, would like a 2 hole port job on the barrel, would like to go back in and jewel all of the trigger parts, and possibly a different front sight..
