This is a free contest by a overly generous vendor who happens (by most accounts) to be a stand-up guy. Another stand up-guy takes the time to keep interested parties informed regarding the status of the contest. To me, bitching about being duped demonstrates a complete lack of appreciation for this monthly opportunity. I said it once before and I'll say it again. Thank you, Mr. LaRue, for the consideration and opportunity to receive a gift from you. Thank you, Mr. Fingar, for taking the time from your schedule to provide information regarding this opportunity. Good luck to everyone else. If you can't think of a good number to pick, you may borrow the one I pick every month....1314. Would someone please add "a lack of imagination" to the list of dupe reasons. 
ETA: The only dupe that really concerns me is having my number picked again. At which point I would say "Please give it to an active-duty Soldier".

Does the contest end on 2000 total entries or 2000 valid entries? 2000 total or sometime tomorrow, even if there aren't 2K posts. I believe it's 2500 total entries/100 pages full (Look at last month) or on Marks will. You're right, I was thinking of vbulletin forums (20 posts per page default). |

Mark was thinking the same thing when he posted in GD about there only being 100 spots let. Almost gave me a heart attack since I had not put in my number by that time. |
